Re: Riot Permission:

also I'll probably wind up stepping one of the Pentakill songs because they're perfect for midrange JS files but I'll let everyone go nuts with calling dibs on stuff before I pick one
I know this will be fairly popular

Re: Riot Permission:

Sadly a lot of it isn't really 70+ but it has some sexy lower end music. And its good quality and a lot of it is well known so -shrug-

Sorting through the relevant ones:

We don’t endorse your Project.
If you share your Project with others, then you need to include the following notice so it is easy for people to see, such as on the app/web page where your Project can be downloaded:
[The title of your Project] isn’t endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc.
- This is pretty obviously okay with regards to FFR.

The community gets to use your Project.
We want fans to create and share cool things with each other, and we want to remove barriers to sharing. If we spotlight a fan project or make something that resembles what a fan might have made, we don’t want to be sued. Therefore, you agree that we can use, copy, modify, distribute, and make derivative works of your Project in any form, on a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide basis, for any purpose and without having to pay you anything, obtain your approval, or give you credit.
- Basically you agree that your project is share-alike, except in way too many words. FFR has used tons of CC-SA music in the past but I'm not actually sure we completely conform to this rofl

Using other people’s IP in your Project.
You can't use a third party’s IP in your Project if doing so would violate their rights. We understand that besides our IP, you might want to incorporate someone else’s IP in your Project, such as a cool song or some other artwork. If you’re using someone else’s music, artwork or other IP, you need to have their permission before you put it into your Project. If we find out that your Project is using a third person’s IP without their permission, we may require you to take down and stop distributing your Project.
- FFR gets explicit permission for everything we use anyway. This is fine.

Indemnification.
Our lawyers don’t want us to get sued or be put at risk by your Project. If we, or our partners or affiliates, have any kind of legal claim or other lawsuit brought against us that is related to your Project, you’ll pay our legal fees and costs related to this lawsuit, including our attorney’s fees, and any settlement or judgment amount that we have to pay as a result.
- If we get sued and Riot gets pulled into it, it's 100% our fault.

Comply with the EULA.
In addition to the Guidelines we’ve outlined above, your use of any IP related to League of Legends must also comply with the League of Legends End User License Agreement, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Riot Policies”). If there’s a conflict between anything in this document and the Riot Policies, the Riot Policies control. They’re OP like that.
- Thinking about common EULA policies I can't think of anything we'd be violating but fuck reading their whole EULA to make sure... >_>

We’ll start with our golden rule – you can use League of Legends IP as the basis for a fan project that you’re giving away for free or that’s only generating ad revenue (we’ll refer to this type of free fan project as a “Project”)
- This is totally fine, and is actually MORE open than our terms with most other artists, as it leaves us open to ad revenue.

We reserve the right to deny the use of our IP at any time, for any reason or no reason, including when we think our stuff is being used inappropriately (which we decide at our sole discretion). If we deny you the right to use our IP, you will need to stop distributing any part of your Project that uses or might use our IP.
- This is implied with all of our permissions, so this is nothing new.

Q: What constitutes “prior written consent” from Riot? I talked about my project with this one guy on Reddit who said he works at Riot Games. Should I assume I have Riot’s blessing?
A: Communications about 3rd party products can only be started by contacting us at 3rdPartyRequests@riotgames.com. We’re sorry to be sticklers, but this is some of that “srs business” that Corporate Mundo is always talking about, and we really need to follow the rules on this one. Consent must come from someone who’s authorized by Riot Games to give it, and be provided in an official Riot Games document describing the terms of our consent.
- Not sure if Riot chinchan's word will hold up per this statement. Couldn't hurt to also contact that email address (unless the OP's email is from this address, in which case we're okay here)

Overall the only one that could possibly be a problem is the share-alike clause? idk

it kinda looks like the only way this would affect us, is if riot decided to do an ffr offshoot that used the files made for ffr

which won't happen

I can ask again about our exact case, but from what I stated in my original message she seemed to be okay with it. (As long as we do not profit from it)

BTW, isn't the entirety of newgrounds audio under that non-profit licence? Don't want to go off-topic, but this reminds me of it

Newgrounds audio is CC-BY-NC-SA
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/

Pretty sure that means we can use all of it, but we tend to ask artists for permission directly. Much clearer that way.

Re: Riot Permission:

I just want to point out that I've had two copies of Get Jinxed done for a while (Literally hours after the song came out almost.) So I'll be sending that regardless of any claims you all make / have made.

May the best chart see the game.

PS: I think it's on the Team Frost engine and has been for a while.
