Tentatively out for this round. :( Money is gonna be tight. I can pretty much say this, though: if I do pass on 2016, then I'm essentially committing to 2017 (assuming that's still a thing).

If you want International/Radisson/Sheraton rooms, you'd better hop to it!

Basically, right now, most of the surrounding hotels have rooms reserved for people with the Anime North codes, but aren't letting people book them until AN gives the go. They should be letting the rooms be booked within the next 2-4 weeks. Except for International Plaza, they derped and let people make reservations right away and now they're fully booked.

Booked my room today at the Sheraton. All group rates are sold out FYI for anyone getting a room at the Sheraton @ 801 Dixon.

I think I'd rather stay at the Sheraton next time. Looking for a group of people who don't make noise while sleeping. I'm an extremely light sleeper and can't get to sleep with anyone breathing heavily or snoring.

I will say though it's very iffy. I'd love to go, but there's gonna be a lot that rides on if I go or not.

lol, i dont need too rent a room ^_^ my nonna lives beside the con so really, im extra fortunate (and thankful) that she lets me "go home", but in the past (2012 and 2014) friends were simply kind enough to offer last mimute for me to bunk! i always had a ride home. lmao. at least if i offered to pay, i dont expect my money back, its inconsiderate.

I don't go to that many cons except for Youmacon in Detroit (Woo, local!) How I do it is pretty much if you want to room with me, you pay the fuck up first before I even allow you in the room.
