Day phases will always be 48 hours (excepting instalynches) and will revolve around 11:00 PM Server time. Night phases will always be at least 24 hours and will revolve around the same time.

The proposed setup for this game is called Matrix6. The setup will consist of one of the six rows or columns above, with the remaining players being Vanilla Townies and one Vanilla Wolf. The setup is not announced, meaning if you are Vanilla Town, you do not know if its setup A, B, C, 1, 2 or 3 at the beginning of the game.



Wolves have a factional chatroom in a private location where they can discuss anything they want, game-related or otherwise, at anytime.

All town players (living or dead) win when all the wolves have died.

All wolves (living or dead) win when the number of towns is equal to the number of wolves, or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Voting for players is done using the tags of [twgv]the sun fan[twgv] but including a / at the beginning of the second tag.

Players unfamiliar with the rules should read at least the tl;dr version of the rules located here

Take care to only post in the thread during the day phases. Posts slightly after the day has ended (up to 5 mins or so) will not be punished unless I believe you are attempting to abuse this grace period.

In TWG's context, a post is collection of thoughts about an event that leads to dependant events or random fluctuations based on the value of the content. Dependant events would be like someone saying something logical leading to another logical post who would eventually unveil a part of the truth either about other players or themselves. Another example would be someone claiming a role and becoming clear because no one else claimed the same role which means it should be true (don't do this unless you have a good reason to because will most likely become the night kill). A random fluctuation is usually chit chat which are like attempts at drawing a picture of how the game should be like. This can be read as a progression and it's like the third component after actions and intentions that helps read players. (does their story makes sense despite having good actions/intentions ?)

The post can be used to express the actions of the player (what they're trying to do), the intentions of the player (why they're trying to do it) and we're here to try to validate the authenticity of what's being said (the progression) to find out who's town/wolf.

Note that wolves will have to mislead others and make it look like they're town so, they may appear as townier than town players because they know more information due to the fact that they know they're wolves so, they also know who are all the town players except their role which is something they may try to figure out and to keep an eye on. Therefore, wolves at some point are likely to try to shift the game in another direction if they're in danger. Early game it's more difficult because we can't rely as much on this due to the high likeliness that wolves didn't need to do anything to get a town player lynched.

It's more just me trying to think of what you think I would think would be your mentality when it came to reading you from my point of you or at least what you think mine would be. So I chose probably because it's likely that you'd think about what I thought would be a good word to use if I was a wolf from your point of view. This scenario of course would only work if you thought I was a wolf or thought that I would think that you're a wolf but you forgot to take into account that we could both not be wolves and are just psyching yourself out.

Well, it's true. We are pretty much just punching in the dark right now. The whole game is set up that it is mostly punches in the dark. We can't talk to anyone except for in thread. We dont know the setup. There is no way for blues to interact unless one comes forward, but we dont even know if there is more than one *¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, this is the part where we usually try to ask questions all over the place and figure out alliances and tendencies etc.

That post is also in a weird spot right now because wolves usually want to find blues to night kill them as a priority while townies have little to no reason to care about this unless we're close of the end of the phase and the main wagon could potentially be a blue.

Jessie/yoandri: I tend to town lean both because each side haven't backed off or got defensive.

WV/Charu: I feel like wolf Charu would be less likely to say "I'll never lynch WV". So, I tend to read this as a false positive that I could revisit later on if things keep being wrong.

Syhto/Funnygurl555: Maybe it's just me, but they feel like a lost wolf team who don't really know what to do about the game waiting for town to give them something.

Talking about strats when wolves can talk during the day with each other with no one knowing what the heck this setup even is is generally a combination to get slam dunked.

We don't know what our town PR's are or will do. We can only trust them to make the right moves and help us crack down on the wolves. If they don't make the right move, that's fine too, don't need to be perfect with a role to win. Just as long as we crack down on the stinkin' wolf team.

So for this phase, even if it's gonna be a long one with no real evidence to go after, we should still talk. Not generating content to the game will make a pretty lousy D0 in which you might as well should've just did a night start, lmao.
