Concept:

This tournament is based around the concept of a Dan as seen in rhythm games like osu!mania. 4 Charts are played back to back in a Queue with no restarts allowed. Scores are done based on Raw Goods and (unless cumulative Queue restart totals are introduced) will require submitting a screenshot of the overall Queue score as well as the scores for each individual chart in the set.

Rules:

1. []Late submissions will not be accepted.
   []Any restarts on files in the Queue will invalidate a score.
   []Light bracket players must have the "First Try" skill token (spoilers, sorry).
   []You must have at least 100 unique scores to participate.

Groupings:

Divisions will be done in O.W.L. style groupings of:

• []Light [25-50]
  []Standard [50-70]
  []Heavy [70-90]
  []Oni [90-100]

Historically, participation from players in Divisions 1 and 8 tends to be fairly sparse and presents a challenge with groupings. As of right now Division 1 players will be included into Light and Division 8 players will be included in Oni. This stands to change based on registrations. If you wish to compete in the grouping above your level group- you are free to request it at your own peril.

Prizes:

Due to recent donations received, the prize pools will be subject to increase.

Prizes are structured as follows (per group):
1st place: 30,000 Credits
2nd place: 10,000 Credits
3rd place: 5,000 Credits

Time Frame:

Registrations will remain open until December 1st 2021 and Round 1 will begin Sunday December 5th. Each round will last 4 days and roll over at midnight (or earlier if i get around to it) with a total of 5 rounds. Percentage based eliminations will be conducted at the start of each round in a similar format to an Official Tournament- exact elimination counts will be released at the conclusion of Registrations.

Score Submission:

Scores will be submitted to this thread and tracked in this spreadsheet. Be sure to include the overall Queue result screen as well as the individual results screens for each chart in the queue (this is to ensure that the no restart rule is followed).

If you click the star next to the song title after you finish a song, you can set the offset for that specific song. You could go in and set the offset for each individual song first and then play them all together as a queue/dan/whatever the gimmick of this tour is, idk the concept doesn't seem fun

Hello! I'm releasing Round 0 sets as a little teaser for the tournament! Scores on these sets are not going to be counted in the tournament and are just meant to be a little bit of fun for those who would like to try them.

Difficulty is scaled to be around the middle of the range that each division will be playing- roughly the difficulty you'd expect to see around Round 3 or 4 (out of 5 total rounds). Not the easiest set, not the hardest. For those requesting placement in a higher division, this should give you an idea of what you'll be in for.

To import a set, enter Song Selection and click the Queue Button on the right side of the screen. Then in the lower right hand side of the screen click "Manager". Once you're in the Queue manager, there is an import button on the bottom right side of the screen. Copy paste the Queue string for your bracket and it will load it into your FFR client.

Did I do this right? First time ever playing a que on FFR also don't pay attention to the fourth song... I hit the windows key by accident so it failed me out of the song and I'm tired after playing all those so not gonna do another full playthrough xd

After having a go of the practice round can we please have a clarification on whether the charts have to be played in the order they originally come listed? I have a habit with ques of going straight to randomise and don't want to disqualify a score by doing that in the real thing.

Kudos for doing all 4- thats one heck of a task. Theres definitely going to be an advantage for players who are experienced with games like osu! or etterna due to the nature and difficulty of sets. It should be stated up front that there isn't likely to be many (if any) AAAs with this tournament. The philosophy of FFRs scoring generally doesn't prepare one for this sort of challenge, so it'll be interesting to see how players cope under these conditions.

Due to some D8 entries, an Oni-er bracket is being introduced.

For rounds with 0 eliminations, there will be cumulative scoring for that round and the next round with an elimination. For example, in Oni-er the Round 3 Elimination will cumulatively score the Raw Goods totals of rounds 1, 2, and 3.

For some reason the queue kept adding the first song duplicated to the end of the queue, I never used queue before so I don't know if I pasted the string in wrong or something. I just hit esc before any notes came on the last song, I hope that makes it still valid - if not, I can do it again :3
