Well it just goes to show you that no one actually read the OP entirely.

Clearly it states that if a staff member participates, if they place in the prize place, it will be directly given to the person who places underneath them. I'm assuming this clarifies for vrofl too if they already have it. Am I right?

Is someone going to notify everyone via private message when the round starts, or if someone made it to the next round?
That was the problem I had with last tournament.

I'm not sure it -is- one on one matchups. Is your only basis for that the fact that the general rules say "get a better score than your opponent" instead of "opponents"? With the number of people who are going to have signed up, actually building one-on-one brackets and tracking all of that would be both a -lot- more work in terms of scorekeeping and round setup, -and- result in probably 50 times the need for tiebreaker songs, and then tiebreakers of tiebreakers.

There would be so many "Oh we both AAA'd it" matchups . Unless Sprite- actually says outright "They are one-on-one matchups" I'd assume it'll be the same format as every previous official tourney. A fixed number of people moving on, and the top X scores of everybody being the ones who do.

Each round lasts 1 week, thus, there's a new round every week. It'll be stickied and at the top of the tourney forum all week. If you can't remember to check in every monday night to see the new round, I don't see why the organizers should have to cater to you.

Pick a tourney buddy to remind each other about the rounds starting if that helps. But come on, if the rounds were 1 or 2 days, you might have a justification, but you can't remember "every week"?
