If you happen to find and old packs laying around (or happen to know someone who does) that I don't have uploaded, feel free to direct me to them! In terms of pack uploading, it's pretty much playing the waiting game for what we don't have, and waiting for anticipated pack releases at this point.

You guys, I developed a list what I thought would fit the major simfile packs, but I know if I posted my update list, it would be kind of biased. It would be really nice if I got more input from other players on what they think should be on the major simfile list so I can optimize this list.

I'd like to see some peoples opinions too because I am likely going to edit the downloads page on smo to only show the packs in this major packs list and then link elsewhere for a full list.

Well, "major" packs are highly subjective based on what community you ask.

If you mean major packs strictly based on the FFR community's interest, you could say that most packs that have been released on the FFR forums are for the most part "major" because quite a bit of people download them and try them out. I would say as a community, common packs people have are generally more on the harder / dump side. Most of this is what I posted on the SMO forums already, but there are a couple changes.

I would say:
- (Obviously) Stuff with FFR in the name, like the FFR community packs.
- Fresh Flock of Fantastic Files F4 and Fabulously Fresh Flock of Fantastic Files F5
- The earlier HSMP's (I wouldn't go higher than 7 for this, I don't think people like the newer pack releases for this nearly as much as the old ones).
- Light Chancellors Packs and Dark Chancellors Packs
- midare megapacks
- Mina minimegapacks (stupid hard dump files for top tier players, not common for lower tier players)
- Nuclear Blast JS Awesome Bomb Filez
- ODI packs
- Otaku's Dream (anime mix and 1 keyboard/2 keyboard)
- Puritanical Penis Packs
- Rebound Vibrajacking Packs and Rebound Dump Collection Megapacks
- Video Game Megapacks (VGMP 1-3)
- Xoon packs (1-5 and finale)

I'm surprised that you even still use mediafire for any sort of file hosting purposes. Since I doubt you are uploading hoards of SM packs anymore, you could probably use dropbox for 2GB of hosting space, and delete files when necessary. Also, that new mega site people have been talking about looks promising, encryption and 50gb hosting space or whatever sounds pretty sweet.

Thanks though, it's going to be quite the pain to get missing packs that have fallen into the depths of nowhere. but things have been going well so far.

PS: I'm downloading all of that stuff dballin, and I'll host whatever I don't already have as soon as I get it all. Sendspace is being rather annoying (shocker) but I should have pretty much everything in a few hours.

Uploading these now, thanks for pointing these out, the file hosting sites for these were pretty terrible.

I archived everything from here a while ago. The only thing I have to watch out for are new releases for packs every once and a while.
