Welcome Zenith, hope you've been reading the thread, we're already at 1000 posts!

Don't worry about your slot though, it's clean (but apparently it can shoot players).

If you ISO his posts, you'll see why. It's pretty early on too, so it won't be that bad of an ISO. I don't want to answer for him, heh.

Yes, I can. It may make me look bad though, especially among players who have precious little meta on me.

Part of my meta is a claim by others that I do not blatantly lie as either alignment. If I say I'm town, I'm town. Some have claimed it's a trust tell cheat, but it's not, not to me or those who claim my meta is that I don't lie. It's just part of the weirdness that is spruce (which is not my real name either).

Some sites (like MU, for example) claim the game is essentially a lying game. I don't hold that view. I think it's fundamentally a psychological game. If I say I'm town, for example, when I'm a wolf, it isn't because it's a lie, from my perspective. The best strategy in being a wolf is to be the wolf, who doesn't see himself as ebil, but a persecuted minority - the true town. The best strategy as town or wolf is never to lie, so the best way to not lie is to make oneself town, as any alignment.

I was consistently reading upward to page 30-ish but then I was preoccupied with life and missed the last 15 or so. I was grinding my teeth at parts because I really wanted to post as I was reading haha.

Anyways, I'm going to take this time to isolate everyone and gather some thoughts. In the meantime I'll leave you with the tidbit that I was reading Adam interactions and he was the one whom I felt had the ability to establish some form of a lead for this phase and I didn't know whether it felt more in suite with a risky wolf or a confident town.

I wouldn't strain yourself, and hello.

I've subbed worse for a lot less, it's alright. Looking forward to seeing why the slot has already been considered clean and gross since I've entered.

Not that it really matters, I didn't get what I wanted from it anyway.
Oh well, funnygurl555, you've checked in a couple times to wave the TForce meme flag.. why do I feel like you're content to let anyone go down in this mess of a thread while continuing to use that flag as cover?

Well I mean, you're effectively the slot now, so you tell us, dohoho.

Was it a confident town or a risky wolf? Don't just say both, silly!

Yes. Or at least I know there are 6. So then it's a matter of who believes me. I got that and the rest of the special info I've divulged from the Shop.

Clean because the views of your slot were absolute and they would challenge everyone they thought was not right (which just about was everyone).

Not so clean, because the slot decided to play dirty with the posts.

For what it's worth, I think your slot is town.

Being analytical I'd say it was more of a town gesture than a wolf. It'd be far too risky imo of a wolf to even attempt it or come off as such but the possibility wouldn't be thrown out as easily. It's something that I became keen of quickly while reading of Adam but now I have to pick up the slack.

I think for a lot of people it's more gross in an icky sense like how a roach is gross
I think I'm one of few (if any) who actually really stand behind the wolf theory

FreezinIce, can you explain where the disconnect is? I can try to bridge the gap

If legit, Eirika is who he wanted, and Eirkia was indeed one of the three.
If rhetorical, I just got got.

I think my vote is still on sprucegrit. I feel like wolves objective at this stage of the game would be to hurry and find a PR. Therefore stuff has to happen to create the opportunity to create this scenario.

If you think mechanics early game, sprucegrit is the main contender for this.

Anyway, I'll develop thoughts when I catch up.

... wat
How is spruce claiming the power of his potential role at all PR hunting?

Haku's knee-trigger response to the waifu contest announcement is, "Should we all vote for the same waifu?" He then puts out the list of waifus, and less than an hour after announcement, tries to push us all to voting Eirika.

The wolves naturally have an advantage in this contest in both their numbers and the fact that they know each other's identities. But they specifically aren't allowed to talk in private about the contest. They have to do it in public. How do you get your team wolf team to pile votes onto your target? You tell them quickly who the group target is and act like you're talking to town. The "correct me if I'm wrong..." part even kind of gives an air of non-finality to it, which would maybe get town to disperse their votes and concentrate the wolf pool in future?

Another thing I noticed during my waifu research was that the characters in the contest are all within the Sacred Stones. It's a very real possibility the waifus are players in the game. And if that's the case, there's good motive for the wolves to get their waifu the win.

I don't think Haku's response to the contest is towny. I think there was a little too much initiative going on there and it smells bad to me.

For the most part I agree with this post.
The second-to-last paragraph (re: waifus being the players) I don't agree with as - while possible - you'd nedd all 5 to have been rolled in despite the fact that only 2/3rds of the roster will have been rolled into this game. The winning character probably has no bearing on the game; only the voter(s) behind her.

Lol. Nah, I'm p sure there was some legit fire under those posts. Doesn't mean it's indicative of anything.
Unless you're trying to push an agenda that wolf-Adam was faking the anger for town cred.
