Honestly this site is like a million times better organized than any of the main SDA ones. All relevant info is up top and you can organize the stream/chat/donate windows any way you feel like. Twitch viewing is also an option and you can even keep me company in the chat again. I guess they're just going to do it via Poxnor's personal stream rather than making up a new one for the marathon so subscribe or whatever all the cool kids do nowadays: http://www.twitch.tv/poxnor

Stream just went live. Come check it out! Starting with FF4.

Huge sequence-break in Luigi's Mansion discovered this week:

For those interested.
You can basically skip the whole game as soon as you beat the first boss, which would be Chauncey.

Not this Chauncey though.

P.S: Patashu in the chat again... I swear he's everywhere.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread

By the way, Bonesaw is trying to get the whole skip non-tas live. It's extremely tedious and is based upon accurate angle and random positioning. I'm still trying to get the gist of it, but from what I can grasp, it completely relies on luck.
However, the out of bounds glitch seems moderately consistent, so there is hope.

I run Pokémon Puzzle League and Super Mario 64. I mostly race the beat Super-Hard category on puzzle league. Like other pokémon games there's a lot of RNG... so this causes much rage over an other an otherwise kinda boring game lol. I have been racing this category almost nightly as of late with a group of people. These races are done on SRL btw. I also, do a lot of 16 Star races. I will do 70 when they come up, but I really am not that good at 70 yet. Looking into other games to run, but I just do these two for now. My twitch page is http://twitch.tv/shadyjakey c:
Oh, I also run Tetris Attack (basically the same thing as puzzle league, but for the snes and a lot shorter)

I just got my new controller from ebay this week. You just gotta make sure it's an official controller and the joystick is the original one and not the dumb replacement one. I use to play SM64 with those and they are garbage. Also make sure it's in good condition, since the original joysticks get all that plastic dust inside from being used so much. There's so many of them on ebay for under 20$, so just find a reliable seller.

Mine is red and in near perfect condition. c:

Re: The Speedrunning Thread

I should clarify that I meant a joystick that wasn't really loose and worn out.

I'm gonna try to repair mine I guess.
