Submit lineups starting tomorrow. I had to skip ahead a day to see it.

Go Canucks go~

They're doing it already guys.. They beat Anaheim last night in a shootout, and on the second day of a back-to-back, they're dominating the Kings through 2 periods (LA has 9 shots for crying out loud)!

LA has been ridiculously disappointing this year. I'm in a couple random fantasy leagues and I have Quick on two of them. Needless to say I'm not doing so hot in the goaltending department.

EDIT: And I just realized he's on my FFR Fantasy team too. Damn it. I hope they turn it up this year.

I mean it could be worse. You could have auto-drafted Tukka Rask. However it seems that honor went to Kraezymann.

I can't even drop him because of the Can't Cut List. 0-3, great job Rask

feel like playing a drinking game and taking a shot every time sportscenter mentions mcdavid and crosby's lackluster performances

Might as well get used to it. SportsCenter rides Crosbitch's dick all day, and now that McDavid is in the league they're gonna dick ride him as well.

That looked really painful. The amount of speed they have going into the boards is crazy. Too bad really, I was beginning to like watching him, bugger is fast

Holy shit, this Larkin kid is going to be something special. Leads the league in plus-minus, and he can really fly.

Speaking of which...

This is real. John Scott is literally first place in the all star voting right now.
Btw, my 4 were Larkin, Cammilari, Baby Boy Byfuglien, and the greatest goal scorer in NHL history John Scott. Plus, John Scott said he'd play if he actually gets chosen. Imagine him playing 3 on 3. If he gets in the All-Star game in getting his Jersey and I don't care what anyone says.

Larkin is in. Get your rookie cards of him now.

Anyone watch all-star weekend? Our baby John Scott scored twice, got the MVP, and a brand new truck. Seeing as this is his last season, it was really a good sight to see.

Watched it, started to get really upset that it isn't really about the bragging rights of "who is the best" in "what category" but more a family-orientated show to appease anyone watching. Don't get me wrong they all still have things to prove while there, but if you have watched the older All-Star Weekends compared to the ones in the last 5 years, it gets very depressing.

It was one of the most exciting all-star weekend. Not because of the performances, but the atmosphere and the drama during the week-end, a big part due to St. John Scott. I don't see what was depressing about this ASG. Players are doing this for fun, to showcase their skills and to celebrate with each other. You're missing the point, a serious bragging competition is not the spirit of the event.

See: many moons ago

bragging rights were the driving force of ASG alongside rivalries to see who was the best at what category.

Now it is all about the "atmosphere" and seeing players have fun while also showcasing their skills. Also, NHL really botched ASG with the drama about Scott and now one game suspensions on players who didn't attend because they wanted the weekend off. You are missing the point that it was the spirit of the event to brag about skill and demonstrate why they can even brag about it.

I'm not questioning the fun aspect of ASG, but morely I miss the spirit of competition rather than the spirit of fun; it suited hockey better with tensions so high.
