Lu bu never made his father proud and was dishonorable on the battlefield

Re: Roast the person above you
alright I'm cutting in line
Lu Bu didn't give a SHIT about his (adoptive) father and that doesn't matter. No one here knows who Ding Yuan was until I said his name I'm pretty sure. Red Hare is a really good horse, ok? Dong Zhou (father #3) wasn't actually the tremendous despot he was made out to be, but the ROTK says that he was, so we're going with that, and Lu Bu assassinating him for whatever reason(s) did prolong the sick and dying Han Dynasty, which is what some of those around him wanted. Lu Bu was a tool. He didn't know shit about running a city. He didn't know shit about anything but war. But he was honorable on the battlefield. He fought duels evenly, only the God of War could match him (apparently this isn't just canon which surprises me). He was... not a tactical genius, and did not listen to council when he really, really should've. His alliance with Yuan Shu would've failed. He was a doomed man who flew too close to the sun, and could've extinguished it if given the chance. He was just never going to get that chance. But dishonorable is just... wrong. Cao Cao didn't honor his father either; he (didn't actually but the ROTK says he did so its canon ok) killed his father's sworn brother out of false paranoia and then didn't feel bad about it. He also genocided innocent people because a bandit killed his father, not exactly honorable. If you're gonna come at me, come at me with either the truth or the made up ROTK bullshit version of the truth. EDIT: @raeko you say yes too easily; you bend your convictions to fit the will of those around you. Also, the electoral college isn't messed up. |

Re: Roast the person above you
skipping a bunch to give dbp an actual one because he's posted a bit and has only got zzz's
i think you choose unfortunate times to be selfless, and outside of those times you come off as pretty narcissistic, which may stem from your characteristic of not being too restrained by humility (good and bad); you have high highs, but also low lows you also have bad taste in garfield strips |
