I realize that See You Dance should be about a 23. The 16th-16th-jump thing makes it harder than the rest. Perhaps an Easy of the highest order, or a standard of the lowest.
That's basically what I said months ago.

Turkish march should be Very Challenging, because the way you look at it, I'm pretty sure its hard to PA, but not too hard to really full combo.

EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure love you anymore should be in easiest. It has a REALLY LOW arrow density. Also, the final fantasy song is not impossible to AAA. I did an experiment with the jacks and got perfects, but I was just testing, and the test was not an actual run.

Bah never mind I guess it's impossible to AAA

Tasselfoot 03-29-2007 05:43 PM

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

FF7 is most certainly impossible to AAA. same way Gradeus and 100bb are. etc etc.

Turkish March should NOT be VC... that file is so unbelievably full of 3 frame jacks... not only insanely hard to PA, but quite difficult to FC. most certainly belons in the realms of the FMO.

Love You Anymore... *shrugs* there are 3 songs rated easier than it that are all NOT Easiest... Easiest really is for ONLY the absolutely easiest files. They need to be a 1/99, and that is it. I actually have a file that I'll be adding soon that is a 4 or a 5... it's 8 seconds long and about 34 arrows. it'd be a 2.5 if it were longer, but because it is so incredibly short, it's a 1/6, or about a 4 or 5.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

Turkish is harder to FC than Silence and BF, harder to PA than Hellbeat/Rottel/LW4.

LYA is really short but has 8th short streams, which make it non-easiest.

Jimerax, it would help if you actually updated the main post.

Does it work out that you pass even if you don't touch the keyboard? I was hoping for that...

Also, it'll be great if getting an AAA gives 0 credits rofl

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

it is 34 arrows, yes? if so... BARELY 1 credit. 52,700.

and there would have to be 21 or less arrows to pass without touching the keyboard.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

I think jimerax wants to get some agreement from others in here before updating the main post. It will probably get updated soon, which is good. I've got 9 songs in my best scores spreadsheet listed as "released, but unsorted" because I've been waiting for the kind of official word from here on where they go. I think there are 4 other token songs plus the skill tokens unsorted, too. I'm still keeping those out of the main part of my personal list though since they're extras and apparently don't go in the average rank calculation.

Thanks to everyone for their help in rating the songs and maintaining this list. A little request, if I may -- could the first post also clearly indicate what was updated? New songs aren't too hard to figure out, but sometimes I have to search a bit for other changes (e.g., to BPM). Making the changes bold or italic would work (removing the last set when adding a new set), or listing the changes at the very bottom of the post like in the thread collecting token official hints. This would make it easy for everyone to see where the new info is in the post. Just a suggestion to consider; it's up to you. Thanks again!

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

update + added Elements(42) and VB(99).
not updating taps/sec and MAX score of VB unless Shash does.

Informations of Notes of Vertex Beta, BPM of Jurs OP are needed.

Thanks for the update. I'm updating my spreadsheet right now, and it looks like Sifon is in your list twice, at levels 49 and 54. I wrote it down at 54. Did it get dropped to 49? Could you check on this? Thanks.

That Tethnic Vibe has been released now, right? If so, that should be added in to the main list.

Is that new song Excite Bike? Excite Bike is about 8-10 seconds long, and has quite a decent amount of arrows. Can barely get a B in SM, the jacks are too close together.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

Both Tass and I agree that the real steps for VB are a low 5.5.

I'd say between Balloon Fever and Silence.

jimerax 04-2-2007 11:08 AM

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2

yea low 5.5 is right, it has more length and trills (and quite a bit faster BPM) compared to Shihen.
