I agree.

When I first started playing it the first day I was on all day. Then I had an evening where I played with my sister and then played a little the next day with her.

The next day I pulled my phone out at work to show my coworker.

That's the last time I played it and I'm ok with that.

I think it’s also a game that is amazing or awful depending on who you’re playing with

I’ve got a few different groups of people that I love playing with which definitely makes the appeal more than just the actual gameplay

Yeah for sure. The last time I played with my sister we had a group of 10 that all legitimately participated, played well, and nobody left if they didn't get impostor. It was magic and will probably never happen again.

I understand the appeal in a sort of like action chess kinda way, but playing with 4 randoms is such a crapshoot of toxic egos that its not even worth it. and if you stop playing for any time more than like 8 weeks the game changes so drastically and you'll be far behind in the meta not knowing all the shit they changed and added. stopped playing dota2 after like 2K hours lmao

apparently theres an among us minigame in VR chat someone made that is actually pretty good. i hate among us and werewolf style games but that might be fun with the right folks.
