Haha I only found this one out after browsing my music collection.

The Switchback in FFR is Actually the Switchback (Klayton Revision) version and has been a misnomer for 5 years +.

The Original Switchback [not the version in ffr] by celldweller:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knV1H163ISE

His own 2006 revision used in FFR (klayton is his first name):

Pretty interesting. So yeah a simple rename to Switchback (Klayton Revision) would be appreciated.

That being said, I might step the original Switchback for FFR.

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to sit on that a bit before considering the change.

Don't know if it is just happening to me on my end but this is ****ed up >.<
Any insight on how to fix this if it's just me or if it is indeed something that is not only happening to me, can someone fix this soon?

Have you tried to clear your cache yet at all?

I'll give it a try, someone just told me it might be because they don't have a banner though :|

EDIT: cleared Cache... nothing happened, still the same :|

If you're using Internet Explorer 9, click the small broken page symbol on the top right of your browser called "Compatability View". It may fix that issue.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

Maybe I should update my browser then? or use IE?

It's just his profile, too? Or does it do that to others as well?

Hate to rehash this, but I've found a forum thread about my level ranks issue here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...t=96747&page=2

If my historical knowledge is right, Tasselfoot is no longer involved in FFR. So who would I talk with to fix this?

Thanks.

Are you saying that you have an unrecorded score for a song you've played? If so, fill out an Unrecorded Score form: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/tools/unrecorded/

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread

The scores are being recorded because when I get to the results screen for the song in game, it shows a ranking for a previous play. This score isn't showing on levelrank, instead it lists zeros. I know it sounds weird, but i'm pretty sure it's messing up token 35 for me.

No idea if this issue is on my part or the standalone but the time is about 2 hours off. I dont leave the standalone up and running or anything and ive tried clearing my cache multiple times. Really messes some things up, like if a tourn is up early and i post for it then it looks like i got the score before it was up when i really didnt. Fixable or not?

Not sure if this is the right place but...

Crystal Wind by maxXx65535 should be
Crystal Wind -hisui mix-

it is a remix of the original Crystal Wind, seen here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uy3LDhXfWTk

I don't have an exact source as maxXx65535/Glome's webpage isn't working anymore, but if you do a quick google search of the song you should be able to find a mp3 floating around somewhere

This is an assumption because my standalone time is incorrect and I don't feel like changing it. Sorry if it doesn't work, but it seems plausible.

The time posted in the standalone is not the server time, but appears to come from your regional settings. If this time is incorrect, you might be able to fix it by going to this page and ensuring that it is in the proper region. Once that is changed the standalone should display an accurate time, although it really shouldn't matter because most tournaments require you to screenshot your gamer card with the server time, or take your word for it if it's the same date.

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread

Am I the only one to see some characters displayed as a weird character : (a "?" within a diamond shape)...

It has a weird effect on the name display in-game

(only the Velocity and Legacy engine, R^2 is correct tho)

There's only 5 songs affected :
- Jack-the-Ripper
- DT Rabbit Blood Festival (en Cu- Suta Taira)
- All 3 songs by Günter & The Sunshine Girls : Ding Dong Song [Light], Ding Dong Song [Standard], Tutti Frutti Summer Love.

bmah 10-10-2012 03:22 PM

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread

Oh, that's simple. The diamonds are unrecognizable characters only because the font the game uses does not recognize such characters. For Gunther, the "u" actually has a diaresis (the two dots) on top, so it should look like "Günther".

For Jack-the-Ripper, the actual title does have a real black diamond (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZJYV-GE6pM). I think that one's more appropriate if anything!

I'll fix the others.

Do you mean that the raw scores are messed? Or the regular high scores are weird for you?
