Why the hell do tourneys need to be approved in the first place btw? Seems like a silly rule. Should be "anything goes unless more serious prizes are offered and nothing breaks rules... unless it's so awesome that it warrants exception"

Tourney posting guidelines announcement and Tourney requirements sticky cover all of that mate. It would appear to be preventing this subforum from being over-run by half-assed tournaments, as well as ensuring that banned persons/newbs can't just create tournies.
