Floridian as well judging by your location it's going to be bad man you are right by the coast I hope you have a safe location to ride it out because some of those gusts can be over 100mph, stay safe.

Thanks my dude, but Pensacola is at the end of the Panhandle so I should be gravy.

If it hits Georgia / Jacksonville hardcore I still have time for an out tho

Haha I was talking about OP but it's cool I'm in Central Florida I'm still watching though you never know sometimes which direction these storms take.

choof are you ok man you're acting very irrationally lately I know we have our differences but if you're going through something I'm happy to talk with you actually legitimately concerned for you.

This is important to keep in mind. Also RIP I just typed up a big response and I accidentally closed the tab.

So condensed version: DO NOT TAKE A HURRICANE LIGHTLY ESPECIALLY A CATEGORY 4. I stayed home with my family during Irma, and while it was a Cat 4 my area only took wind speeds on par with a Cat 1-2. I do not recommend gambling with this though. We were insanely lucky. You don't really know the path the hurricane will take until maybe 24 hours before at the earliest. It was still enough to cut power for 8 days and wreck our fences. We also stayed home during Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and that was a Cat 3 which managed to knock down a tree that was on my front yard in addition to power loss and shortage of water/food.

Whichever place you're staying at, make sure it's enough to withstand a hurricane. Keep all of your most valuable items with you and stock up on lots of water and food ASAP (hopefully that's taken care of by now). Stay safe, bro.

Reptile please get out of there if you are able to. I've been following how the storm is going to affect your area because that is where one of the girls from Teen Mom lives (laugh if you want) but it sounds like it's going to be pretty serious in that area. She's not evacuating either and everyone is worried for her and her family. Please please be as careful as you can be.

Re: Hurricane Florence

u really fucked up by not evacuating in wilmington and it's too late to go now. have fun with your record breaking freshwater flooding event that will have exacerbated fluvial flooding because storm surge is forcing upslope flow along the rivers.
