Ive been playing solo and other key counts for awhile now, haha. Choofs and I talked about it a bit over Skype and I talked with other players about it in a group chat, but honestly they just seem confused because they only play stepmania for Dance.

Is there some document that shows the difficulty rating of different solo files and stuff? I've been wanting to know stuff so I didn't just play random charts, haha.

The only thing I can provide that's relevant to what you're looking for is a difficulty table I made specifically for Solo Japan & Rulz Pack 3. I had help from solords like Hazelnut and LongGone to determine how the harder files compared to each other—obviously the bottom of the table is pretty much bullshit. This is actually included with the pack download

I've seen that chart a lot though and have pretty much done almost all the non-bullshit charts and then Angel Dust. I was kinda meaning for things like "Shine Bad at 1.1 is X Difficulty Rating," something like the smleaderboards.net rating system.

Tbh I never heard of solord until maybe two days ago when talking with friends on Skype and sending them scores.

That's why I turned that shit off and use true percentage scoring ;) Much better. When I see 100% that still has a ton of perfects I die a little.

imo, solord is basically just getting AAs on stuff that have been AAd by less than 10 people

I also have to recover all of the skill I lost when I was without a kb. my corsair crapped out on me a few months ago, and trying to play sm on a membrane kb that had a relatively small n-key rollover made me slightly maddo
