Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions Closed)

so I'm stepping some sharpnel dumpfest and it feels like it's getting off sync at some part and I can't figure out why. i threw in a random stop which seems like it fixed it, but the songs so ****ing hard and I'm so bad that I can't tell if I managed to get the whole file on sync. someone pro pm me to test it for me and let me know if it's on sync.

lots of 190bpm mini jacks/jump jacks

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions Closed)

I know what I'm submitting next batch...

Three that I'm pretty certain will go through:
1. Very "safe" SSH song with awesome solo. Possible complaints that I got some drum fills wrong (can't hear them well on laptop speakers) and maybe quips about my one-handed patterns but overall this file is good to go.
2. Blitz Lunar song with very Blitz Lunar-y polyrhythms. Not too hard, not too long, fun stuff.
3. Virt! :3

And the two less likely ones:
4. A "Data Drain-y" jumpstream file... it's not that intense though, only goes up to low FGO densities. I really hope this gets accepted but who knows how the judges will respond, reception of my "weird" files has been all over the place in the past.
5. A 200 bpm jumpstream file to a long screamo song, which of course means it's going to be rejected even though it's fun as fuc~

Can't wait for next batch to open up!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions Closed)

hi19's submissions sound pretty exciting.

I'm sending:

Galaxy by Acid-Paradox [Dubstep]
I'm A Monster by Of Mice & Men [Metalcore]

both being relatively easy songs with respects to flow and pr and I feel these have sufficient polish to be accepted.

And finally, I am contemplating which hard file I should send:

Densely layered bms song (think icy)
Song which is easy (8th with a few 16ths) and then "spikes" to 201 BPM JS for the ending (people love spikes I heard)
200 BPM rigid pattern high-nps JS file

yo man im awesome 08-21-2012 03:26 PM

I guess I'll jump in and list the songs I'm going to try passing through this go around

N's Farewell (Yes again)
Extratone Pirates (Not the drunk optimus remix) (Not honestly sure how the judges are gonna feel with this. It's not a troll chart but it is kind of different imho from what you'd expect if you haven't seen my chart for it at all yet.)
Nekomimi Switch (Miku Miku Miku Miku Miku)

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions Closed)

Might have to swap out my Blitz Lunar song with Negions Fail by wisp... still deciding.
Hard to choose what to submit to FFR and what to save for my tournament :/

Also CBR please more 200 bpm jumpstream, I hate how FFR has virtually no good JS files in that range.

Don't you have this song accepted into the difficulty 1-9 batch? Is this a harder/different version?

So I'm still debating on what to send. Some of these may not be finished yet, although most of them are.

My own files that I will be sending:
- Ball of Malt v2 (DDReam-synced 2012 HQ version)
- Entry (Dubstep)
- Not Our Tomorrow (Miss May I song I found when my brothers told me about this band)

Collaborations:
- Hoosh Hoosh (with Icyworld, although I'm not sure if we'll submit this)
- Down Temperature (with Icyworld)

Undecided:
- Speedcore 300 (very unlikely)
- Zanzibar Green
- Aci-L (very unlikely)

Submit when the batch opens. Which is very soon (I'm guessing about a week or so).
