Well, it's also the case that the top end has fewer people and still a wide skill differential. The quality of player who is in T0 and D5 versus someone in T1 even, can be pretty wide in terms of directly competeing against one another, so what ends up happening is the size of each bracket also gets bigger the lower you go. D5 might have only 16 people in it, while D1 will have 400

ok so based off of this- i have about 15 aaa's my best an 8 most lvl 5s about 150-200 Fcs those rangin basically any song ive ever played from 5-s -8s- 10s - to even 12's- im not that great of a player i would say higher inter now than like a month ago where i was lower- im probably the most inconsistent player ever lol and if i got D3, well itd be a shame to get knocked out of my first official tourney first rd

Yep, that makes sense. I don't have any issues with the placement in this tournament. I was just speculating about a possible source of confusion for people who'd only been in small tournaments.

Well if devonin is correct, that would mean I would be in either high D2 or low D3, since I have 50 AAA's (difficulty 6 being the best) and 462 FC's (difficulty 11 being the best, no mashing). I have 66 skill tokens and not many tier points. I hope I'm getting D2, but it's possible that I might get D3 D:.

stop trying to figure out what division you guys will be in. in the end, you pretty much have no say and wont be choosing.


on a side note, i strongly dislike all those players who are extremely good but never play so they come into the tourny with 300 songs played, no AAAs, no tier points, then end up in the final round AAAing teh C of VC songs >_>

It only sucks to have the top tier players join if you will be in the same division as them. if you will be, one assumes you are also a top tier player, so quit yer whinin.
