Re: Guitar Hero World Tour

if it weren't for the custom chart ability (which is way less useful than it could have been, but at least it's there) this game would never be placed in my cd drive

Jesus Christ what a disappointment, and I wasn't even expecting it to be good. The engine feels like **** overall, the game looks completely ugly (compared to GH3, even, which is just unacceptable), the interface is confusing and impractical, vocals make no sense and are zero fun, drums are charted even worse than bad HMX charts and SP activation on them is godawful.

The only redeeming quality about GHWT is that I got to remake my Trisection chart, which I do love playing, plus the first parts of BB Revenge and Holy Orders--not having music is fine, doesn't even matter that much since the music just plays in my head as I play the chart. Even horribly restrictive and gimped the feature is pretty inherently awesome, and I really hope we see it in RB3 so that I never have to touch this terrible game again.

GH3 was great IMO, this game isn't even close to it, let alone the pure awesome that is RB2. I'll still buy GH:M because Metallica is just too fun to plastic geetar to, but that'll be my last purchase from this franchise if they're going to keep churning out this kind of garbage.

I found this posted on another forum, and apparently the Scorehero community has officially FCed every song in GH:WT with this piece of work.

The guy that posted it wanted opinions on how legit this might be, but it seems pretty solid to me.

Edit: 1:55-2:37 is WHAT. O_O

Thank you.
Hey, is there any way to make custom charts using SM or something like SM? If not, I guess I need to make the program to convert the chart info :/
