^ truth, And you have no clue about his skill level in the game, for all you know he could be the top player... He isnt... But you dont know that for a fact... You dont know me... And i have been playing since beta... and have over 1.5k games under my belt... Along with thousands of theorycrafting/number crunching. Would you call me bad as well... Just because you dont know me? Oh and BTW, ARP Olaf can get 206 flat armor pen. Kinda disgusting... Not that it would be a viable build... It would still be ridiculous Olaf Max ARP"Does not factor in his passive 30, starks/black cleaver/sword of the divine, So add those in. (And if you have a kog in the game, add 25 from his Caustic Spittle)" Oh, and 2 major advantages of olaf over kass, is the 340 true damage on a 2.5 second cooldown, that wont matter how much armor you have. And with his ult, he cant be stunned/knockedback/slowed like kass can be. So he can be getting in more melee hits then a kass could |
Re: League of Legends
I play this game

Re: League of Legends
wtf shash

Re: League of Legends
Olaf is by far the best 1v1 champion in the game. His passive, combined with the utility of his skills, make him unstoppable and relentless. As such, he's also pretty good in teamfights, ignoring everyone else's damage while completely bulldozing through a carry or two.

SHASH
IM PHE0NIXBLADE THAT GUY WHO WAS LIKE YO I KNOW YOU and you forgot all about me, sort of even though I totally used to talk to you in MP before you were pro and all that D: ;_; |
Re: League of Legends
Just achieved my first Penta Kill with, go figure, my original best champ. Haven't played her in AGES. That was the first match I was able to pull off that build. I typically go full AD (BF Sword items and whatnot), but since the release of Manamune, I've been trying to incorporate it. First time I've had it work for me =D Match time was about 38 minutes. Last item was going to be an Infinity Edge. |

would prolly rape that phoenix dude in a 1v1 tho np |
Re: League of Legends
Cause 1v1s in a game centered around a team make A LOT OF SENSE

Re: League of Legends
olaf is not that great, trynd ****s on him 1v1 and at max farm even a teemo with exhaust can beat him (done it b4)
|
Re: League of Legends
Operative phrase there being "max farm."
Teemo can beat most champs that require actually attacking you, because of Blind Dart. That and Exhaust pretty much means Teemo has 8 seconds of free attacking, minus any abilities you use on him. Trynd is just Trynd. With two lives, who couldn't take on just about anyone? |
Re: League of Legends
which brings me back to my point, olaf is not that great
|
Re: League of Legends
Ok, so two examples makes a champ bad? According to this logic, all physical champs are bad because a Rammus with a Thornmail will more than likely beat them. Vlad is bad because he has a hard time bringing down Morde. Need I continue to prove how faulty this logic is?
Also, a Tryndamere at "max farm" beats anyone, no questions asked..... unless someone has Exhaust or Ignite (or both). ......wait, doesn't that make a "max farm" Tryndamere bad? |
Re: League of Legends
did i say olaf was bad
i said he was not that great and this was in response to stargroups claim that he is by far the best 1v1 champ you are retarded qed. |
Re: League of Legends
im going to side with mina again because he sounds like he knows what hes talking about
|
Re: League of Legends

I pointed out that he used two extreme examples to justify his point (And all he could do was call me retarded). Two examples out of 64, minimally, considering he said "max farm" Teemo in one of his posts. If he can use two examples to make a champion "not that great" then I'll use two examples for why ANY champion is "not that great." If you're going to make such a great claim, back it up with more than two reasons. Mina, You said that AD Kassadin is better than Olaf. The fight is item dependant, but I think that Olaf has the edge in this fight for two reasons - His passive and his ultimate. AD Kassadin is going to be all about sustained damage - he just doesn't have the burst that his caster or hybrid counterparts have. Olaf has a HUGE advantage over sustained DPS - He attacks faster as you wear him down, which (in most cases) means that he's eventually going to stabilize in health (assuming he has Life Steal). Essentially, the more you hurt him, the more he hurts you. Kassadin can only do so much to control Olaf as well. He has a silence and a slow. Since it's AD Kassadin, his spells aren't doing nearly enough damage to be threatening, and his mana pool is going to drain quite quickly. Also, because he isn't built as a caster, he probably doesn't have much cooldown reduction, leaving his Rift Walk around its 6 second base cooldown. If you try to slow him and start Rift Walking away, Olaf's just going to ult and throw an axe at you. Kassadin will get off one, maybe two Rift Walks before he runs out of mana and gets crushed by Olaf. That's just my input on why Olaf > AD Kassadin. |
