Random Thoughts Posted on: July 10, 2023, at 06:00:36am [0 comments] Round 1: introspect (AAA) This was a fun first round song to play and I didnt expect to AAA this song about 10 minutes into the first round. Patterns aren't too complicated, it was consistent with note distributions with breaks to help calm things down, and an overall fun chart to play. Round 2: Dysthymia (1-0-0-0) This song had quite some tricky patterns, especially near the end where it's very easy to get a boo if you're not careful and the 32nd note bursts throughout the song are very tricky to hit without getting a good on it. Plus the fact that it takes about 20 seconds to get to the main challenge makes restarting this song over and over again pretty tedious. Hopefully I can try to AAA this one too. Round 3: [line:zeta] (1-0-0-0) Despite it being more difficult than the round 2 song, it was much more of a fun chart to play as the consistent difficulty throughout wasn't too overbearing and kept me in check for the upcoming difficult sections near the end. Even though this is a 76, it felt easier than the 72 last round (in my opinion). Patterns weren't too difficult, bursts were manageable and not in too confusing patterns, although the end part can get very tense as that is a very burst heavy section. Great chart to play regularly and the song was a bop. Round 4: Mutant Sixty Four (3-0-0-0) This song wasn't too bad to get a decent score but the middle section bursts 1000 notes in are a killer if not prepared for them. Great overall chart to play and most of the patterns felt nice to hit and werent too complex. Also congrats keyslayer101 for AAA'ing it. Good luck in the future rounds. :) Round 5: Pink Slime (1-0-0-4) Wow were already halfway into this tournament and its getting pretty spicy for our division with a 3 raw good cutoff (as of posting this). Well this chart itself is very fun but sometimes the beginning jumpsteam can be a mind block, especially the second part of the beginning. The jacks throughout feel great and arent overdone, great but tricky patterns throughout the second half, and the bursts near the end can be a bit difficult. You guys are the best. :) Now that I completed this challenge, I can finally play this. Man, I sure hope that it isn't some sort of April Fools chart for all the work that was put in. That would be silly... Posted on: January 23, 2023, at 12:24:53am [0 comments] Today marks the day I finally become a veteran (and my first random thought too). It was a lot of fun getting here and I'm proud of what I have accomplished so far. I have many more songs to AAA though so ill start by going for my first goal of 500 AAAs! I'll start keeping track of milestones now for AAAs, FCs, and skill points to check back on my progress properly. Thanks for all the support and I wish you happy keysmashing! :) Comment wall
