The Rule Game

In the Rule Game, each player must post a rule that follows all of the preceding rules while adding a new restriction.

Rules that must ALWAYS be followed:
1. You must post all previous rules in addition to the new rule.
2. No rule may modify the rule number.
3. No rules such as "This must be the last rule".
4. No rule may modify the amount of points you get per rule.
5. No. Double. Posting. Evar. If you double post, your score is reset to 0 on the spot.

Sample game:
Rule 1: All rules must start with a different word after the word(s) "Rule ", where is the current rule number.
Rule 2: Rules must have at least 1 number not written out.
Rule 3: Your rule must have at least won spelling error.
Rule 4: The rule cannot have the word "must" in it not in quoations.
Rule 5: Following rules (and this one) need to include at least one inreagular verb, like win.
Rule 6: Next rules need to keep at least 1 word (or phase) in perenthesis.
Rule 7: You neeed to put a math equation in your rule, like 2+2 or 3.14+(5-4).
Rule 8: Symbols must be use at LEAST once in your rule, not including . , ? / or any of that (exceptt in equations, like 3.1-4.5) sort. Run!!!
Rule 9: Never end your rules with peroids, 0k? Also, %5 of 6 is a number!!! I won the game! (Yes!)

Rule\11:\EVERY\rule\must\have\at\least\1+1\words\i n\ALLL\CAPS?\(Just do it?)

If a rule is broken, the player posting the rule that breaks another rule gets NO points, and the game resets. (next poster posts a Rule 1)

Scoring (just for fun)
Posting a Rule 1 gives 1 point, a Rule 2 gives 2 points, a Rule 13 gives 13 points, and so on.

I'll start:

Rule 1. All rules must contain the title of an FFR song that was not used by a previous rule. (Before you call me out by saying this breaks itself, FFR is the name of an FFR song :P)

Need Advice - Lost Cell Service in Canada

So I just crossed the bridge entering Canada from around Detroit. Shortly after crossing, I lost cell service. Definitely should have seen this coming.

Any suggestions?

My service in the USA is through Virgin Mobile. Guess I'll check their website.

FFR Shirts & More?

So I was thinking since I've finished out my playing days on this fine site I might contribute something to the people of FFR.

If it is okay with the staff of FFR I would like to create: Shirts, cards. stickers... possibly more but this is just rough process at the moment.

I would be willing to make shirts that have what you want on it. Whether it be your "Team" name with your username and also a nifty logo or your avatar of your wish.
Maybe you want a shirt with your rank on it? Your previous Official Tourney rank and Division. So on and so on.

I will admit these most likely will not be free. I would like to find out what the community has to say and the staff as well if I should go through with this.

Let your thoughts, rants, or praise be shared here.

Drastic change in passion and thus career, but is it worth it?

So, yes, I always value your guys' opinions.

As you know, went to school, got an associates in paralegal studies and went off to work as one. Still working in same place since I always have been, and the job searching isn't going as well as I had hoped. Also, yesterday was almost the day that the straw broke the camel's back (I wanted to quit so bad, but I'm hanging in there just for the sake of getting paid).

Yes, I did get a handful of interviews to other firms, but that's the farthest I got.

Recently I found a huge and new passion in drawing, and I think it'd be really really REALLY cool if I got into graphic design. Specifically, I want to help design characters for games and stuff, but right now that's a dream in a far away land, unless I had drawing skills on a scale of ten, with my skills being 20, there's no way I'm gonna get that chance right away.

I have worked out a plan - there is a 2 year degree graphic design program at the same community college I went to for paralegal studies. As much as I would like to go to a 4 year college, I simply do not have the funds available to do it.

I'm also thinking, as long as my portfolio is impressive, then who cares what education I had? (Though I know, the more experience in doing stuff, the better). I wonder if I can get a duel associates degree?? It'd be cool to have something else artsy to combine.

Anyway, it's such a drastic change, I know I know, but I'm unhappy with my job, the outlook of my career, and overall, I don't think I'm really made for it. For one, I certainly don't have the emotional spine to handle when things gets stressful/ when the boss gets angry (all attorneys are the same, I'm basically the definition of roadkill). I've noticed a little bit of improvement with this problem, but certainly not enough.

Anyway, I hope to get your opinions. Oh, and I live in Ohio, which I know isn't the "hot spot" for such graphic design careers - but I live really close to cleveland.

EDIT: Didn't tell my parents a thing yet, but I did tell my boyfriend and he's over-the-top supportive of me. I hope my parents will be too, but I can see if they don't - it's new and I haven't really expressed an interest in an art-related career. I've always expressed an interest in art though.

Hello.

I'm cetaka. Someone of you might know me as a epic troll. Well today I'm not here on a mission of troll but a mission of peace, and win. We as a community of roar + people ive never heard of have all been here a while, and made some real bad stinkers of files. Well all that's about to change. I thought that now that ODI3 is basically done this is a good time to introduce this idea to THe FFR Simulator Files Forum.

Pack Rules:

0. Don't begay about any of the following rules.

1. You must restep a file that you already finished, and include the old file as standard and the new file as heavy. How to begay about this rule: there are lots of ways. The point of this pack is to take a file you have already completed and either nontrivially improve it or, if maybe you just finished it recently, step it very differently using ideas you had but didn't use, or something. So do that.

1a. If you want to change the sync, have two files with the old sync+chart on standard in one and new sync+chart on heavy in the other, with the same song name+artist+subtitle. Apparently in sm5 you can have both syncs on the same file so maybe we can do that? But I don't know how prevalent sm5 is. Let's talk about it if it comes up.

2. Each person will only be allowed to have up to 2 files in the pack (that includes for me, cetaka, literally the smartest person whos ever played stepmania). On the flip side, there will be no gay ass judges and file selection will be self-moderated. Hell yes dude. How to begay about this rule: If you try to get around it with aliases I'll find you and hunt you down. HST is ninshikou. I don't know why anyone would do that for this pack but I dont understand why people have a million aliases to begin with so just dont ok. Note that if you send in a reallyu bad file to "own" me all your owning is yourself because have you seen stargroups reviews? He slays. You will be slayed dude.

3. Graphics is up to you. Theres plenty of really talented people who can take a random google image picture and do fancy photoshop crap andmake it look like all the toher graphics out there just like mommy told you to so do that if you want I guess. I don't care.

4. Release date is whatever. Probably whenever I finish both the charts I want to make lol which will be in 3 months probably. I will try to decide an exact day well in advance. there is no concievable way to begay about this rule so dont even try.

5. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR SUGGESTIONs ABOUT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One think I'd like to do is maybe release random files here leading up to when the pack comes out as like a pseudo-minitaka-phase thing just to keep the hype alive but if noone wants to do that it won't happen I guess. After writing it down it actually seems like a pretty stupid idea lol .

As you can see these rules is an attempt to treat everyone like mature adults who can take care of there own business. Feel free to PM me or skype me. Note that since I'm not going to judge anything you don't need to submit anything in advance or whatever. Just maybe say in the thread what songs you're doing if you want people to know, or say joke songs if you want people to laugh (I dont know who anyone is/ havent played any files made after 2009 so I probably won't get the joke), or whatever; I might maintain a list in this post if I feel up to it. Towards the release date we will come together as a group and I will collect the files into a single folder.

Quick question:

Did we release Red Fraction Pack 2? Or did we just turn it into the Dark Chancellors pack? I have two folders on my back ups (RFPack2 Accepted and In Judgement).

Just wondering.

EDIT: I remember SMGpack3 turned into Red Fraction pack, so I was just wondering if the same thing happened with RFpack2 turning into Dark Chancellors.

Defective box or bad pads?

Hey , I ordered energy metal arcade pads from Amazon outlet (one of DDRGAMES CUSTOMERS) Brand new like a month ago. I cannot return them back most likely but My up arrow is replicating itself and so is the right arrow. When I tap on it once , it tends to double tap. I don't know if it's the pad itself after a month of use or if it's a defective box...

I called DDRGAME and they said it's most likely the control unit and that buying a new one would fix it as if the senors have nothing to do with it... Is there even a way I could get new senors for my metal arcade pads and replace them? Apparently the senors are a piece of crap if they go out with'n a month or start acting up.

New menu options?

I noticed a new tab we have now simply named Menu. I click on this and it says game music, MP3, and Youtube. It make me assume we can copy and paste a link or MP3 file and play the song. Just kinda curious if this is really the case. =)
