ABOUT THE SHOP
Ye Olde Photoshop Shoppe is a graphics request thread created by me so I can spread my work across the FFR community (and get a few credits, I suppose). I've been working in Photoshop for a little over a year now, and my specialty is forum signatures and avatars. As you can tell from the sub-title, however, I also do banners.

THREAD GUIDE
SECTION 1 - Rules of the thread
Let's get the obvious out of the way: follow the forum rules. Now let's talk about my rules.
1. Do not post questions about your request in the thread. PM me about it. You can post what you think about the finished product, and you can post general questions about the thread. Questions about the thread will be answered in the thread because they may serve others useful.

2. Don't spam the thread. This means don't converse about things not relating to the thread.

3. Don't be an ass if you want your request to be completed at all. If you request something, and then start to bug me about when it will be done, then I'll drop the request and move on to the next one.

4. Don't request renders. I rarely do renders because I'm not experienced. This doesn't mean I won't use renders in your requests, but I won't render anything for you.

5. Some credit for my work would be nice. If I make a banner and you use it on your profile, a Random Thought entry about who made it and where would be really cool of you. This isn't a requirement, but if you could mention me then I would be grateful.

6. Do NOT post requests in my comment wall. They will be ignored. If you wish to have a request finished please post it in the thread and follow thread protocol.

7. This should be obvious: you MUST have PMs enabled for me to send you your request. I will not post it on your comment wall, IM you with it, or e-mail it to you. End of story.



SECTION 2 - Shop protocol
When requesting something, please try to specify as much as you can. I don't mind going back and editing your request if you're not satisfied, but this can be prevented if you clearly specify what you want. Usually you would want to tell me things like: match your profile, what style you want it, what the text should say, what size it should be, etc. Also be sure to tell me if you request and avatar and a signature, if you want the avatar to match the signature, or even if you want a banner to match your signature.

Upon your request, I will add you to the "EN QUEUE" list towards the bottom of this thread. This means that I have read your request post, and you're on the list to have your request(s) completed.

You should expect to wait a minimum of 24 hours for your request to be completed. Many times, it will take less time than this, but if I'm busy then you may have to wait a day or more. If you have been on the "EN QUEUE" list for 3 days or more, then you may PM me about the delay. I'm very sorry if this ever happens.

After your request(s) have been completed, I will PM them to you along with my own little comments. After you have replied to my PM to let me know that you are satisfied, then I will add you and a link the finished results to the "COMPLETED REQUESTS" list. Once I have sent the PM out, you will remain on the "EN QUEUE" list until I receive a return PM, however, there will be an asterisk denoting its completion.

Upon the event that you should decide to use a banner you have requested on your FFR profile, I will add your profile link to my "MY WORK ON FFR PROFILES" list.


SECTION 3 - Appreciation
At first glance, this section probably makes me look like a conceited ass; note true. Showing appreciation for my work is not a requirement of the thread, it's just a nice thing to do. Some ways you can show appreciation for my work, and help out the thread:
1. Use what I make your for! It's the simplest thing you could do. If you use them, and people ask about them, tell them where it came from. Tell them who made it, tell them how much you like it, etc.

2. It's a rare thing to do, indeed, but if you happen to like anything I've done enough to put a link to the shop or mention my name in your sig, then go for it.

3. Post a random thought on your profile. It's a pretty effective way of getting traffic to the shop. If someone sees an avatar I made you, clicks on your profile, and then sees the random thought (or a banner I made and then the random thought) then the know where to go to get something like it.

THREAD ANNOUNCEMENT!
Since it's the Christmas Season, and I've reached 50k creds, I don't really need the credits!

From now until January 1st, all requests are free!

However, you may only get one free request (that's one request, not item, you can get a free banner, avvy, and sig at the same time) before this ends!

Then I'll probably just make the prices really low... or keep them free! You never know! :D

From looking at your work, it's very nice. I would like a banner signature and an avatar if thats not too much hassle. The only things I really want you to know about them is I want the character Light from death note in the avatar and ryuk from death note in the signature and banner, and for them to be red and black. Everything else? Go wild. If I like them extremly a lot I'll throw in a random thought about my banner and stuff and a link to this thread.

Could I get one of each if you don't mind. For the avatar maybe an old revolver like gun with a blue/black background, with like, Gun92 in the bottom corner, or where ever it looks nicest. As for the banner, I want something related to Stephen Kings Dark Tower, possibly including the tower itself and Roland if not too much of a hassle and if you could include the words The Dark Tower, that would be awesome. Again, the words Gun92 in cool script would be awesome. As for the sig...I was thinking maybe something in the way of a few of the characters from Time Crisis with their guns showing, maybe include a background from the game or what ever is easier and just have Gun92 somewhere in cool text. I hope I was specific enough and followed your guidelines the way you wanted. I'm in no rush, so take as much time as you need, thanks :) Btw, all your work I've seen so far is really really sweet.

They are made like Avatars BUT it has to have the step artist name (MixMasterLar) and some logo, I like to pick Iori (non-Orachi)

The only catch is that you have to make the BG of the CDTITLE clear, so it isnt a block.

The first one states that the sim is from PiU, the 2nd says that the sim was stepped by two artist and it list them, and the 3rd is a "logo" that a stepartist uses to show that he stepped it

As for me, I want a siggie that is dark blue, almost like ~Zero~'s sig--with a picture of Resident Evil 4 Leon on it to the left of my name. In the background, I'd like to see the scheme of buildings that is found in the village, slightly faded out. The font that I want is the one that is one that is on the cover of the game. If you can do this one perfectly, I'll give you 10,000 creds. :D

When you're done with it, put it small text, made by arrekusuof93 in a font of your choice, but in small white text with a 1 pixel stroke. Why does this matter? Hey, i need a CD Title, well, actually two. one regular CD Title and another that has ORIGINALS under it.

But on the CD Title, I would like the letters DoodgK on it, and the pixel size, preferribly around 50 x 40. or like 65 x 40, if it must be longer, lol.

I'm not too sure what to have on it, but you can make it look cool, use dark bluish colors, but maybe if there was like a star explosion lookin; thing on the left of the letters, and have a burst from the start going over the letters, itd be sweet. Have the font of the letters a sort of square-ish look, kind of like Rebirth's CD Title, but not as slim, maybe just a tiny bit fatter. and have t blue with a black outline on the letters.

I guess its where the background ends up clear when your on stepmania, so its not like you have these words and pics and stuff and then a white square background behind it, but its just like nothing is there. if you look at Rebirth's CD Title above, if ends up in Stepmania what im talking about.
