View Full Version : Possible idea for a reward system

A reward system is on my list. It's undecided at this moment how it will operate, but it is indeed a priority.

So this thread is basically to give ideas on how it should work. I came up with a way it could work, but I'm sure it has bugs that could be fixed.

So here's the equation: [(accuracy + hits + combo + 100%s) + (x-1)*.5]/50.
X being the difficulty of the song.I tested it out on difficulties 1-4 to show you how it works out. Keep in mind that its harder to count 100%s the harder the song is, so they might be slightly wrong, but I don't think by too much. Also I just used points as what the reward name is for now. We definitely need a better name. Also, all of the scores I got were from first try.

Accuracy: 97.61
Hits: 100
Combo: 100
(gives me 6 points)

SZR
100%s: 16
Accuracy: 95.1
Hits: 97.7
Combo: 70.7
(gives me 8 points)

Bomb the Base
100%s: 52
Accuracy: 94.08
Hits: 95.7
Combo: 17
(gives me 10 points)

Sad
100%s: 11
Accuracy: 92.79
Hits: 95.1
Combo: 55.9
(gives me 13 points)

Ravers Fantasy
100%s: 17
Accuracy: 92.12
Hits: 94.5
Combo: 27.3
(gives me 14 points)

I stopped there because at difficulty 6 and above, it is just too hard for me to count all the 100%s.

Anyways, comments? Critiques? Name for the reward? Whole different system in mind? THEN POST. I need/want as much feedback as possible. Also, I'll be gone for the next two hours or so, so don't expect to reach me any time soon.

sure, but what would these points unlock? We'll need a boatload of new sims....

spinfiles and maybe we could get characters for mp? Also, whichever of our sims that doesn't make spinfile of the year should be up to purchase

What you better do:
make it very unrepetitive
use different rhythms if a part of the song keeps happening
make it gradually get harder and harder and harder and hardest.

Anyways, back on subject. What's everyones thoughts?

Does anyone have any ideas for what to name the rewards, I'm pretty stumped trying to come up with something.

We should have a spin the bottle reward system. Whatever the bottle points to is your reward. That's looking good though. I'll make note of that process.

Well I guess pokelda does have a point. If we're gonna test the whole perf/good/whatever else system, now would be the time to do it.

We should have a spin the bottle reward system. Whatever the bottle points to is your reward....

Would need alot of goodies made for that to work, With Jugglin's you could just add two unlocks a month if it came down to it.

That doesnt mean I wont go into overdrive stepping if y'all all want to do it, just that we would need alot more then we have IMO

EDIT: IMHO, good unlocks would be 5+minunt songs, FFR Skill Token Crossovers, and hard V2s of 1/2/3 level songs (I get dibs on Hyrulian ;) )

Actually, I was suggesting putting off a rewards system until after we have perf/good/avg system, not when the system should be ready by.
