I'm led to believe that Ren & Stimpy and Rocko were the only reasons I owned a tv when I was younger. I actually saw Rocko's Modern Christmas the other day. They just don't make cartoons like they used to anymore.

Can i ask you guys a question? Does anyone hate the new time schedule for Adult swim? I HATE it. They show it late at night on the @#!& weekends! They probably did that because of A.) Angry parents, or B.) show they could show their dumb commercial thingys with them showing steps on how to do stuff, like doing CPR, that is SO not funny... :evil:

What? Now I can actually watch Adult Swim with their new weekday schedule! Plus they brought Lupin III with the weekday schedule which really kicks ass. I never get to watch it on the weekends because I'm always busy doing things with my friends or girlfriend. I only watched the Sunday Adult Swim for Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab, Harvey Birdman and Space Ghost - everything else on Sunday I really don't care for. Did they switch around the Saturday schedule? I've only got to watch the Saturday adult swim maybe three times since it's been on. Really, I only watched it for Yu-Yu (I do love Cowboy Bebop, but I've seen the entire series about three times already).
I'd love to see the rest of Trigun; I've only been through episode 6. Vash is the man.
And speaking of Slayers, I still have to watch the Slayers tape I got for Christmas >_<

I think really, that the schedule now works for some people, but to many, it doesn't. Honestly, my mom is evil and won't let me stay up that late, but it can work out for others. The thing is, i have to record it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and its driving me mad.
P.S.- good news AND bad news, they will start showing trigun on adult swim sometime soon (i wonder how th dubbing will be), but on Feb 4, they... will... stop... showing... Inuyasha. Curse them! :cry:

I don't see them editing Trigun too much for Adult Swim unless there's some sort of unedited version I'm not seeing on the DVDs. Outlaw Star is great, but they don't show enough of it on Adult Swim; they completely don't even show the spa planet (or whatever it is) episode. I'm not into hentai and I haven't seen Ghost In the Shell yet - anime is really hard to get where I live.
Synth puts up more songs to download as he obtains permission from the artist to do so. With the release of Remix #2 on the horizion, you should expect more downloads to pop up soon.

I really don't mind dubs too much, but I hate how Cartoon Network keeps showing us stuff like Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack and stuff like that and passing it as anime when stuff like Trigun, Berzerk, Those Who Hunt Elves, Golden Boy and other good anime get looked over.
I'm gonna buy more anime when I finish watching the tapes I got for Christmas: The Slayers #1 and The Guyver #7.
I do have a job, but the school, insurance and car payments are evil :evil: I'll have more money after this month.

Okay here are a few animes I watch on a regular basis. Tell me what you think of them:

Outlaw Star: love Melfina, coolest pilot ever.

Gundam (insert series name here, anything from 0079 to wing): I just love big robots beting the crap out of each other and Char is my hero.

Big O: again, big robots.

Evangelion: c'mon, you have to love this series.

Escaflowne: I liked the movie better than the series.

Keinshin: All of the show, it's just great, but Samurai X was hella good too.

Fushugi Yuugi: I read the manga and loved the series, but only see it subbed, he dubbing is heinous.

Hellsing: in a world where Vampire Hunter D rules over vamp anime, Hellsing has carved a very distinct niche in my mind.

Macross/Robotech: again with the robots...

Ayashi No Ceres: Yes it is shojo, but I don't care. I like it.

That's all I can think of now, I'll probably kick myself later for forgetting some.

I watch Berzerk, Kenshin/Samurai X, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Yu-Yu a lot, but I also own a lot of movies such as the Street Fighter movies, Armitage III, Spriggan; that kind of stuff. I'm kinda inbetween the casual and hardcore anime fan-the stuff's just not available around here and I don't have the money right now to buy offline.
I've been playing DDR for a long time now. Currently, however, I've been more into Beatmania, Beatmania IIDX and Guitardora. For the most part, I run basically every DDR tournament in our area (northwest Ohio).

Do you have broadband? you could always download it. That's how I got half the first season of the AWSOME anime Azumanga Daioh. Damn, which reminds me, I have to go find that other half. I want to buy it too, so I can watch on TV.

The only anime I ever dl'ed was the DBZ episode where Gotenks fights Buu in the time chamber. That was soooo long ago. I barely like DBZ anymore; I just like Gotenks, especially in the unedited versions. Street Fighter II - The Animated Movie was the first anime I ever owned and it seriously rocks. I also have Alpha which is cool as well and I've been meaning to check out the V series. The movie that's been eluding me though is "Knocking on Heaven's Door." I've heard it's really good.

How do I rate myself at DDR?
Well, I've been playing for quite some time now and I've pretty much accomplished everything I wish to in PA, so I work on my freestyling and just plain have fun with the game. I'm definately not the best, but I can hold my own.
No, I do not watch anime all the time. I work full-time writing for a newspaper and have a girlfriend, so my time is pretty much limited. Like I said, I still have two anime tapes I got for Christmas that I still need to watch. Yes, I follow Japanese games, but, like the anime, they are not immediately available to me and the whole money thing sets me back. The last import I got was for Christmas when I picked up Fire Pro Wrestling S 6-Man Scramble.
And please try to keep everything in one post. If you need to add something, please use the edit feature. It will help keep the boards a lot less cluttered. Thank you :D

That's the worst way to get it though. I use FTP's and IRC to get them. It easier for me becuase it's faster, and you actually get to know people who watch the same anime that way.
