Or...Well, I guess she's a superheroine, but **** that.

Basically, JurseyRider said something that gave me a sudden flash of inspiration:

INTERNET GIRL! Fighting cybercrime and dealing with serious business on the web! And....What ever other stuff there is!

All I got so far is this:

I decided not to draw the top of her head because I suck at hair. To the left of the head, you will see the shirt, which proudly carries the insignia "Girl! OMG!" Below the shirt, you will see the cape which exclaims "LOL" on the back. To the left of the cape, you will see her skirt thingymabobber, and her shoes (I was too lazy to draw the other boot).
Thus, the costume basics are created!

Undecided:

Hair style and color, personality, costume color theme, universal weakness, and most importantly, I haven't decided on all her super powers.

Super Powers (so far):
Flight
Super Strength
Able to attack people through their computer moniters (you know, punch them and stuff)
Squeek-Fu (Grammar Master!)
Faster than a T1 Connection! More powerful than a Site Administrator! Able to tracert IPs in a single hop!
An IQ that puts braggy MENSA members to shame, and she has a PhD in WhiteHat-ology. (Supersmart anti-hacker skills)
Oh, and of course, the natural female dominance over male nerds.

If your brain thinks of something cool to add to/change about Internet Girl (that's not "give her big boobs"), please share it!
P.S. You know what's REALLY REALLY awesome? When you draw your ideas and post them so we can see what you're talking about clearly.

While I was in Math I did some sketches of different hair styles, and keeping in mind that this is a Girl, not a Woman, the best-fitting are pigtails and the french braid.

Personality: I havent thought too much about it, but I figure a cheery attitude is in order. And since she's got those cheek thingies, she'd probably blush a lot, so probably she'll be pretty shy and modest about certain things.

Well...Maybe. Who knows? I have thought of a few small comics I could do, but I wouldn't make it a dedicated series. If you want to draw Internet Girl comics, be my guest. Just be sure to post it!

Fish: I'll try drawing straight hair again, but...If it's gonna be straight hair, it can't be black.

Jurs: I'm not sure if I can make Internet Girl look like you. I tried to draw a comic of you and Mal fighting to the death, but it turned out really bad. REALLY bad.

Not like i'm one to talk. Welcome to crappy photo hour, where Jurs draws a pos cartoon in 5 minutes, figures out how to scan it, then posts it.

There are so many things i'd change on this thing. The face is too round, i'd change what is on the face, i'd make the hair smaller, the body isn't proportioned well.

OH WELL. If you're really that interested i'll take time to draw a half decent one. I had to do this in pen so i couldn't erase ****.

I have no idea how explain where or how she got her powers, except this: I am taking in mind that the only previous superhero with Internet origins is Freakazoid (technically, "cyberspace," but we all know that something as crazy as Freakazoid could only spawn from the internet).

Also, I've been having this idea for a Justice League-ish thing, with other internet heroes like the Silicon Surfer and LARP Lad. I should do drawings of them.

Also also, darkshark's 2nd drawing contains cool hair style.

I thought and thought and thought, and I came up with an idea I like: More Internet in the hair. Basically, using inspiration from Freakazoid and XJ9 (My Life as a Teenage Robot, good show), I came up with lightning hair. Which may or may not be original. (I seem to remember some super hero/villain having lightning hair, but Wikipedia and Google came up with zilch.

Another power: instant connection. She has receicers from every internet service provider on her utility belt, and back up dial-up equipment incase she's somewhere really remote. She can connect to the internet at anytime.

Also, the origins, IMO.

Rebecca (I just chose a name, it could be anything) was up late working on a final exam essay for an english class that she had only just started that day. She was on wikipedia researching, when she saw a very out-of-place ad. "Wait!" she thought. "Wikipedia doesn't have ads, what is this?" So she clicked it and was suddenly shown in a way still not understood by modern science, every single page on the internet. It happened in a matter of seconds. This newfound understanding gave her intelligence beyond that of a many many internet nerds put together. She went to finish her essay, and found she had super-speed typing abilities too! Blah blah blah yeah.

darkshark, your latest picture hit my imagining of Internet Girl's face SPOT ON. The robot look really appeals to me too, I freaking love it, but...I like traditional casual clothing more. But man, I totally owe you. Like, a bazillion.
And I rethought the lightning hair. I slept on it and went "Oh, blubbery pish posh. If Binary Boy is gonna be a kid with a baseball cap, Internet Girl needs the regular hair." But those hair colors are SWEET.

Hyperdriver: The Embodiment of "WTF!?"
There was a really smart genius with the thirst for more brain power, tired of always being 2nd place to some other really smarter genius. In a desperate attempt, he infused his brain with biocybernetic parts. The infusion was successful, and he became much more brilliant and quick-witted, but he became frustrated with his slow body. He attached wires directly from his brain into his computer, so he could record his works faster than his hands could ever type. And while this too went well, something afterwards went terribly wrong: Somehow, he overclocked his mind. Unable to control the speed of his own thoughts, along with having a constantly overheating head, his sanity was shattered and he became Hyperdriver. His attacks are quick and spontaneous, often leaving a trail of websites devastated with random confusion and chaos. Well, not really. Nemesis is more of an understatement, because the evil Black Hatter is much more powerful than Internet Girl. His past is a mystery, but hacking skills are phenomenal, and his master plans are foolproof. He rarely sees Internet Girl as a threat, but when he does, it often takes her and all her super pals to fight him off. Very powerful, very smart, very evil.

They're not exactly super-powered, they're not exactly evil, but they're definitely out to prove that SDRT! is better than Internet Girl.

The Server: Mysterious Leader of Super Robots
The title pretty much sums it up. Though Network Ninja has a wild conspiracy theory that it could be AOL, nobody know who controls the army of mysterious robots. These robots all state they are "commanded by The Server" and carry a mysterious "trademark" symbol (it's the power sign thingy) on their faceplates. The Server, whoever or whatever it is, never shows it's ulterior motives for the things it commands it's robots to do. Definitely the most mysterious of all the villains.

Of course, there's other bad guys, but I think these will be the main recurring ones.

Just a fun sketch thingy. I liked the idea of the binary on her sleeve... I was going to have it translate to "XX", but it was too long, so now it's just "F".

Hope it's not too anime-ish =x I tried not to make it blaringly so, but I can't really stray from how I normally draw.

I love it! Ethernet cable for shoe laces is way awesome. And I really don't mind the anime symptoms (though actually there aren't that many in that drawing).

Note: However anyone wants to interpret and draw Internet Girl is fine. If that means Anime style, go right ahead! When I say "not anime-ish" I'm only referring to the way I imagine Internet Girl. If anyone sees Internet Girl as something else (say, a robot with big boobs and a rocket launcher), that's their interpretation.

Hey, can you work a waterfall somewhere into the story? Because I am drawing a picture of a water fall for no reason whatsoever...so if you worked a waterfall into the story, I'd have a reason for drawing it.

ps. The water fall must remain in the background...or else it wont work.

Example:

<some guy>: hey a/s/l?
<internet girl>: Sorry, I can't hear you, I am sitting next to a waterfall and it is really loud!
<some guy>: wut r u doin nxt 2 a waterfall?
<internet girl>: idunno lol.

I have an idea for 5 villains:

Pedobandit, the pedophiliac old, balding man. (Sorry, Jason, but I just had to squeeze your screenname into it.) He can shapeshift (source: like how real pedo guys online will pretend to be something they're not).

w00tpr0n, who represents your basic internet moron. His sidekick is lolnoob. I have no idea what makes them evil and what their powers are, but they will be FUNNY AS HELL. Maybe they will be total anime geeks, thinking they have powerlevels like DBZ characters. "lolnoob, i werkd out in X981723489723 gravty!!!!11!1!111 my powar lvl is liek 3290389578971237857893 now!1oneone"

Then, we've got <GWG>SniperGod, the super elite leader of a Terrorist Clan (I'm thinking like Counter-Strike come to life.) GWG stands for Gods With Guns. If anyone can think of anything better for a clan name, let me know. Elite and Frag, and Force are all commonly used words in clan names. (I would do Elite Fragging Force, but they're a real clan I used to be in during the hayday of my Call of Duty skills.)

Lucifurry. I couldn't think of a catchy name for either a furry character, nor a goth character, so let's combine the two. VAMPIRE CAT GIRL! :O

My last idea is basically a guy like E-Squeek, but mesogenic and evil. Wait. So basically a guy like E-Squeek. He's gonna be the Lex Luthor character of Internet Girl's world, the guy with all the brains and seemingly unlimited resources, but without any actual powers. I can't think of a name, though.

No-go on pedo or furry. SniperGod sounds great, and wootpron...Well, see, there was this one guy I was considering for the Super Pals, but I decided against it. His name was LARP Lad, and I can easily make him a villain like that. He'll be the biggest loser ever, having to say his attacks in 3rd person before he does them, and like how Two-Face needs his coin to make decisions, LARP Lad needs his 20-sided die to make decisions too. The "lolnoob" sidekick could easily be thrown in. I love it.
The Squeek villain...No, not a villain, but no a hero either: Commander Hughes, leader of a little-known Cyber Security Department of the CIA. Not personally a powerful man himself, but he's got a crack team of the best Internet Enforcers government money can buy, and while a strict by-the-book man, he comes down HARD on anyone who disturbs government business. Though the Super Pals and the CSD usually get along okay, Network Ninja's generally paranoid distrust for the government and Commander Hughes' "I don't take crap from anyone, I'm the goddamn government" attitude make for tense moments. He has a very big pet peeve with poor grammar and spelling, and thus he leaves most of his work to his agents.

How's THAT?
