You should make resonance compatible with (Down, Left, 8, 6) Set-up.

That would be awesome. I'm sure many people would appreciate it.

just allow customizable keys is what he should've said.

[Down, Left, 8, 6] is one of the most common setups, due to the fact FFR only allows that set-up to play spread.

And personally (Which a lot of people agree) It is a lot more useful than flat-lined set-ups that some people use.

P.S. Shash, Bahamut-X, bill_clinton, and pretty much all extremly good FFR players use that set-up.

EDIT: Customizable keys would be way too much of a hassle. Since all FFR players who play spread use [Down, Left, 8,6] That seems to be the most reasonable conclusion.

It's not that. It's just that it doesn't work with resonance.

I just checked to make sure and it still didn't work (numlock is off), but I never have numlock on anyway.

Yeah, you can use that spread setup on laptops too, which is why I can't play resonance... =\

LD86 works fine for me on Resonance. What seems to be the problem?

....It doesn't work with mine.....

It's not the KB either because it plays FFR fine.


I thought they only made the controls LDUR for resonance.

you have to turn off num lock... that's what made it work for me.

There is no NumLock on a Mac.

Hahaha, that's so freaky, talk about adapting to a limitations of the game :lol:. Why combining two not-so-good setups would be the best one? But whatever if you like to use it.

I use D,F and J,K when playing StepMania because they aren't too far apart of each other and at least both of the buttons of each hand are on the same line which is the most important point. That's why I suck at FFR.

Anyway, custom setup would be the best option for every FFR game, especially for the new R2 and the main game (because I don't actually play this Resonance).
