Resonance is an online DDR simulator that you can play online without downloading anything. Just simply find a song that has been uploaded and play it. Just simply click a difficulty number and play.
If you notice though, not all songs can be played. This is because the simfile has BPM changes or stops. This is generally unavoidable, as the simfile must follow the music and the speed of the music will change depending on the song. Why can't we play it then? Because it's not supported yet.
How do I play files that I download? Get Stepmania (http://www.stepmania.com). It supports every kind of simfile and has many features. It also has a built in simfile creator that is used to create/edit/sync files.
Sorry for creating another topic like this. I just want to keep people from asking stupid questions.
Edit: And I just now realized that the topic title would be better off being "What Resonance is". Too bad I can't change it.
