I've loaded my sim - it's ready to go. It has registered aswell as being playable with resonance, but whenever I try and play, the song just ends.

Here is a list of the files included in the zip:

-The Final Hour.mp3
-The Final hour.dwi
*-The Final Hour.dwi.old
-The Final Hour.sm
*-The Final Hour.sm.old

*: What are these files ? I don't believe they are necessary, but they just happen to be in the song folder...

The only files you need to upload are:

-The Final Hour.mp3
-The Final Hour.dwi
-Banner*
-Background*

*is optional

As to why it isn't playing in resonance I have no clue, maybe try the clear your cache, log in/out or reuploading it.

I'ved checked other zip files i've downloaded here, many contain the .sw.old/.dwi.old files and they have run resonance fine...and every other song plays fine but mine on resonance...i will try clearing cache...

**Edit: no go, still wont play...i'll try uploading it with out the .old files in there

.old files have nothing to do with it being playable or not. They're only backup files in SM in case you save over something that you didn't want to save.

Also .sm files should have better compatability with resonance than .dwi files.

The song doesn't seem to play on the preview. What bitrate is the mp3? Having incorrect bitrates seem to sometimes make the mp3 not work. Same with weird/foreign characters in the title like ˚˜´ˆøπ簿.

It played under the preview yesterday, I've sinced uploaded a new zip. And i don't know about the bit rate, but i don't see how that would have anything to do with it.

**edit: just a thought, it may be because the song is not checked yet, that it wont let you preview..
**edit2: yea i was right, the song previews, and still the same problem with out the .old files (which i didn't think would help anyway)

anyone got any ideas ? anything to do perhaps with the song statistics/options etc ?
