Whenever gigantic masses of notes appear on FFR Resonance the FPS plumets and I literally get nothing but misses and boos. (Example, One Minutes Oni, Gigadelic or that Max 300 edit that's on the front page of the simfiles, rofl)
Is there any way to counteract the problem? Yes, I've rightclicked and set quality to low.

yep thats what i do lol its amazing what kinda **** you can get through with absolutley no skill
for example i jokingly mashed through Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star a few weeks ago while i was high and got a score in the 300s which was pretty good for me...(also pulled off a 180 combo lolz)
if u play spread that'll help you out a bit too prob

My problem here is not that I can't mash, but that when something comes up on Resonance that I'd need to mash through (eg One Minutes Oni) it lags horribly and it goes miss miss miss miss boo miss miss boo miss no matter how hard I try.

Hit all the keys at once really fast. That's how I mash.

You obviously haven't played that sim. Nobody could even move their fingers fast enough to hit all the arrows.
My computer can handle it. I guess the only solution would be to use a better computer.
