Did you reboot the computer after you installed the cam?

having looked around on Google, I cannot find a problem like this documented with the Lifecam. Chances are, Flash has not yet seen it attached.

Keep trying as I do believe it should be working. At least I did NOT find any documentation online to give me any notion to the otherwise.

maybe an issue during new hardware installation? if anything, it's a problem in your comnputer. Flash... drivers? Aye, it's probably a hardware issue.

I recently bought a Logitech webcam.. built in Mic as well. I jsut connected it to the usb port.. installed the hardware.. restarted.. and voila! People can see me in hiigh definition/detail for the first time.
I don't see why it should fail.

You have to install the driver.

Can you get the cam to work outside the chat? There should be some software with the camera that lets you take pictures/video etc. through your computer. If it does work, make sure you allow the correct video device in the chat by right clicking > going to settings > and clicking the webcam tab shown here:

Finally, make sure you're not using the camera anywhere else when you try to use it on FFR.

If you have done all this and it still doesn't work, try completely uninstalling and reinstalling. There's no reason it shouldn't work on FFR if you can get it working on your computer and have done everything that has been said.

Well. Mine didn't work at first so I restarted my computer. Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. Went into the chat. Unblocked my cam.

Then one day I clicked the "Remember" thing and it wouldnt work. My cam doesn't allow its acess to be remembered. Unclick remember and try again.

Is the cam plugged in? Stupid question
