Tempest was one of my favorite games when I was a kid. Awesome concept and execution considering the hardware resources.

You've gotta be joking. The first thing I thought of when I saw his picture was you. Oh, and I think comments went more along the lines of "LOLZ CHARDISH RAPES DOGS" more than expressions of disagreement with the comparison.

The first time I played SIU, my dad saw it and mentioned Tempest.
I had already known of Tempest, of course, since I make it my business to know things like that. However, I didn't bring it up because I didn't wanna make it seem like Synth was stealing a classic design for a new game.
Then again, DDR/FFR: SEPARATED AT BIRTH AM I RIGHT

Hey, that's an old beta of In The Groove...good thing they moved to the traditional straight setup...
