When I play Spinitup it lags like crazy when there's lots of those... things... quarter-circles i guess. it makes me get such a crappy score (although i'd probly get about the same even if it didn't lag)
does anyone else have this problem?

I'm not going to say it's ultra-laggy, but on low end machines it does play a bit slower than on faster machines(Common sense obviously, I run a 1.2 duron with 758 MB SDRAM). Any chance at a low res release in future versions?

Lo-res is definitely a possibility. It is just a matter of adjusting the a couple parameters.

Why temporary?
Not like it matters... I already made my own means of playing SIU in a smaller window like the second day it was out. I'm just saying, why not have it permanently?
Side note: would that be cheating of me to do that?

Lol, low res definetly works better for me.
Now you just need bigger fonts so someone could read the text on low res.

Low res is very hard for accuracy in the slow parts, which is really the base of any high score, as I learned from before. I prefer the normal version :)

wow that low res works quite a bit better. im still nowhere near good enough to do uber but i got up to 46 on it. thats almost twice as good as my previous 24 lol :p
