Menu screens

I was thinking something like this:

This is the main menu screen, where you pick the genre and what-not. The bottom left stuff is pretty self explanatory. On the right, the circle contains all of the genres and you move the paddle just like in the game to pick a genre.

The circle enlarges and tweens to the top left as shown. Now the song selection is there. The arrows on the sides let you scroll one song at a time. On the top-right is a slider that lets you breeze through the list easily. Once you pick the song, the loader, just like FFR's, will start from the center of the circle (except the circle is the one on the top left) and move out to the outside. The rest is pretty obvious.

A little sloppy but understandable.



Well, that's my idea. Any others?

thats loooks pretty sweet but why not just make it so that the loader comes from the same circle that you clicked on

I like lord carbo's idea. This should definitely be implemented into SpinItUp. I just hope Synth hasn't forgotten about 3rd Style, which I'm pretty sure he hasnt.

I like this idea, especially the fact that the genre circle would be zoomed in on and become the new window focus.

Yeah the song selection part is an obvious rip from the FFR menu thing =/ Oh well. I still think it isn't half bad. But hey, the thread is also here for you people to share your ideas, as well. Post em :)

Oh, I know what you're talking about. Good idea. Well hey, maybe the staff will like that more. It's just what I have in my head, it's not like I expect them to use my idea at all! And if they did, they'd definitely change up a few things.

Some really good ideas here guys. Just as you can imagine, Synth is making his fingers bleed currently, so let him get to where he feels comfortable with it, as this is his late night epiphany of sorts.
