Bingo. I can understand why you guys scrapped the old chat, but I don't see why you guys added all this stuff right off the bat when half of it doesn't seem to really be there. Like, is it an RPG within a chatroom or something? If not, WHY IS THERE AN ITEM SACK?!

At least to me, the nice thing about the chat is it can be whatever one wants really.

For those that just want the old "hang out" to shoot the breeze as it were as in the chat before .. essentially you have that.

For those that want to play around a bit more and rip into each other .. its not that much different ... the system facilitates that too.

The segments of the chat that you find difficult to manage .. just ignore them. Chat, click on users as before to see cams or listen to someones music.

The intent of this system is not to necessarily force anyone to do anything .. just to open up the options.

yea...wtf happened to the chatroom.. that went through many changes...really not makin it any better since i dont pay attention to light side/dark side. I just go on to chat.

Also the video size reduced alot so you see a smaller picture. Bring the old school back.

Don't be a smartass. I mean that it's weird how the unfinished things are still visible to the general public. Normally you'd have the public version with limited but fully-functional things and the development version with half-working (or not working at all) features that the designers are still tweaking.

It just seems a little odd that it's not half done and we can all see. It's definitely better, though, and if it's being developed by FFR member volunteers rather than something Synth has to buy from some crappy company, then it's definitely awesome.

I made a cleeque called Maplestory. Let's say I want other people who play MS to join. How would I do that? How could somebody else see what cleeque I'm in?

And can we declare war on other cleeques and do battle? =O1st question: Right click and there is a small button near where the mic/cam buttons are click it. 2nd question: I don't think you can see what cleeque someone else is in but then again the chat is still in beta so that could be changed. 3rd question: No if you ACTUALLY want to do that go and suggest it is the thread I made called "chat suggestions".

Cleeques are initially like clans. Cleeques combine "ages" when in the same room .. so a cleeque of "younger" users can fend off and actually kick older users.

It is however still buggy and we have other things of higher priorities currently. So expect them to stay bugged for a little while longer still.

You assume too much ;)

Some of the unfinished things are actually working for other users .. but a very select few (launch button as an example).

What you must understand though, and I know it may annoy folks, we have to test for a larger amount of users to make sure we see how people will use the system. Yes, we tested this system in detail before deploying .. and then users did things we never would have anticipated.

So yes, things will continue to evolve. Yes, this site was not this systems's original target and yes it wasn't totally finished.

However, it is a better and cleaner system than the previous one, a bit harder to exploit and easier to manage. Sure some of you might think the previous one was nicer since it was basically by invitation only .. but thats not how things should work.

Past that .. be patient .. it is afterall just a chat, as some users here have stated. All the other "features" are just that .. intentional distractions .. one doesn't have to use them to participate..... currently.

dissolve the one you are in .. and then you can create another one ..

For now, Cleeques are still a bit buggy .. as the user management gets cleaned up .. its on the list a bit farther down the road to finalize and polish.

So keep in mind .. Cleeques are still not the smoothest "clan" solution.
