Simply use a camcorder or webcam. But for a camcorder, try finding something that uses DVD-R's or DVD-RW's, that way you can pop it in the harddrive and upload it onto your computer.

Honestly, im no computer expert, so you may want to consult an tutorial.

This forum is about the FFR chat. I assume that the word "video" is in the title of this forum to define the chat as one which as webcam features as opposed to a text-only chat. It might also have to do with the chat having elements commonly found in video games. I honestly do not really know for sure.

If you want to make a video, do what IAAW suggested. To edit it, you can use Windows Movie Maker, which is a standard to all Windows XP, unless I'm mistaken.

If you are talking about the game. Use a camcorder or even a cell phone whatever works for you if you are talking about embedding a video in the chat not possible. If you are talking about your cam there is a button in the bottom right corner and here is a program if you are trying to record yourself playing ffr... http://www.fraps.com/ if it is none of these options...then uhh be more specific next time.
