Yeah, everyone in Chat is ignoring me(and probably for good reason) whenever I ask a question about rooms and such, so I'll ask them here...

1. What is the point of the room "The Wilds" with the interactive background where if you click on Common Response(or something like that) a scary face appears? Hee, the one from the fright in the OTHER thread I started. 2. Is the room "undefined" a kink in the system, or am I just paranoid?

Hmmm... well, from what I've gathered, most of it is just testing. They are trying to find out what is possible to do in the rooms. Thats why I got sent to the dumass pen about 50 times in a row. Or i could have been being a dumbass, but whatever. I haven't discovered the room "Undefined", but I'm guessing that it is just more testing. And the reason for the total overhaul of FFR Chat's look, I can't say for certain, seeing as i am still practically a newb, but it's most likely because they ("they" being moderators and site admins) want us to have the best experience possible. And there is still lot's more testing to go. (I think...) Hope it helped.

Dissed, sadly, sometimes people do get overlooked in the chat. However, if you got somehow stuck in an undefined room, I will sort that .. bugs happen. It will be easier to track down in the future too, to make sure that doesn't happen.

Overall, so folks know .. the system is only now at version .7 so its very much in beta. It is best thought of as a feature rich replacement for the old chat that had an overwhelming about of bugs.

We are working quite hard to flesh things out and provide a better user experience .. bear with us, and hopefully you will continue to find it interesting... at least more so than just a typical chat room.

That room you found is a test build of a room .. thats all ;) We are testing item delivery and room interaction there .. and likely you will see more of that as we progress.
