Hello, ladies and gents! Welcome to the spectacular One Thousand Fourteenth Post! I trust we're all in a good mood? Well, I am!
I suppose I should give out some goodies, eh? Alrighty then.
The following is a list of my favorite links, and a few new ones to make up for all the non-posting I've been doing.
Terry Tate, Office Linebacker (http://www.milkandcookies.com/keywords/terrytate/) When I mod, I always think, "What would Triple T do?"
Frode Berge (http://www.freebrick.com/) AKA Lord of the Awesome Music. He'll always be my favoirte music artist, because all his music is free and it kicks super-butt. SUPER-BUTT.
Sam and Fuzzy (http://www.samandfuzzy.com) My favorite web comic, hands-down. Period. No question. Although...
Force Monkeys (http://archive.gamespy.com/comics/forcemonkeys/comics/02-07-03/) comes pretty close in second. It's about 3 years old now, but absolutely hilarious.
Singin' in the Rain Commercial (http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-video/Media/video/2005/01/27/golfgti.mov) dj_shox, you posted a real treasure here. It's still one of my favorite videos.
Rockfish (http://www.blur.com/html_quicktime/rockfish_480.html) Also one of my favorite videos.
A Study of the Amen Break (http://nkhstudio.com/pages/popup_amen.html) This "documentary-ish" movie is one of the most interesting and intriguing things I've heard about music. Very neat stuff.
Channel 101 (http://www.channel101.com/) I posted this link thousands of times, and thousands of times it's been ignored. Stop ignoring it, because it's one of the coolest sites for awesome videos. It's where I found Sock Baby! Oh yeah, I should post that too.
Sock Baby (http://www.sockbaby.com/) Words cannot describe the greatness of this zero-budget super-action kung fu short film directed by Douglas TenNapel (creator of Earthworm Jim). Watch it.
Natural Selection (http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/) It's the greatest mod for Half-Life. If you haven't played it, you're missing OUT.
Electronic Scene (http://www.electronicscene.com) Want awesome AWESOME (legally) free electronic music, totally categorized into, like, over 60 subgenres? This site rules.
Rock Cover of Katamari Damacy (http://www.arjueready.com/josh/Corey_vs_Corey_Katamari_Damashii.mp3) Give it a listen, won't you?
Something Real (http://www.talltreefilms.com/jon/films/utopia/somethingreal/somethingreal.html) You should also watch this. It's a fantastic 7-8 minute short film.
Fear of Girls (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7521044027821122670) I posted this in the Google Video thread, but alot of people missed it. This short film is hilarious.
The Joy of Painting (http://webserver.outloud.tv/asp/clips/fullscreen.asp?clip=20031008132430.swf) I showed this to Fish the other day and we both love the song.
Now then, on to the big show!
(Note: Hate to preemptively burst your bubble, but this conversation didn't REALLY take place. But it's cool way to do it, isn't it?)
OmegaNoxim: Alright, I'm here. Now what is it you wanted?
Skaskate2: Well...As you are aware, my 8000th post is right around the corner. I believe your 6000th post is as well.
OmegaNoxim: True. Go on.
Skaskate2: Omega, I want to do something awesome for my 8k. And I'm sure you would like to do something awesome too.
OmegaNoxim: Yes, I would. Been having trouble thinking of something.
Skaskate2: I think I can help you there. I'm willing to bargain for...the uncurtaining of the conspiracy.
OmegaNoxim: ...
OmegaNoxim: That's a hell of thing to want.
Skaskate2: Come on, Omega. We both know it wasn't that great of a success.
OmegaNoxim: Yes, but it was still somewhat of a success. It has not been forgotten.
Skaskate2: And yet, it has been forgotten. Come on, man.
OmegaNoxim: ...All I have to do is name it, and I get it?
Skaskate2: If I find it acceptable. And in return, the picture is publically posted and the conspiracy thread is moved into the Dead Zone for public viewing.
OmegaNoxim: ...
OmegaNoxim: ...
OmegaNoxim: I want modship over the Garbage Bin.
Skaskate2: Close, but no cigar. I know what you would do with THAT power.
OmegaNoxim: ...Grrr...
OmegaNoxim: Oh, fine. A new custom title of my choice. =P
Skaskate2: Hahaha. Very well, I agree.
OmegaNoxim: Then...I HEREBY REVEAL THE GREAT CONSPIRACY.
Jewpin, would you like to do the honors?
Oh, wait! Look at this gif I made! I had to make it super-lame so imageshack could take it.
