But we like this thread. Also, the timing in FFR used to be a lot harder than it is now, like as in, 1 frame to get a perfect. Plus, screenshrinking, speed mods, and AHK were totally not known, and there were very few good songs for getting better on. People didn't even understand how jack syndrome and stuff worked back then. I doubt I could find this now, but a long time ago, when Silence came out, Reach thought it would never be FC'd lol.

You can get jackmisses if you hit late goods, but that means that even if there were no jackmisses you still wouldn't be AAA'ing.

I suppose, but if hitting all the notes within the timing windows guaranteed a full combo, it would be easier to concentrate on timing. When I play songs like that, I'm constantly worrying about not avmissing, rather than trying to be completely precise in my timing. I can usually SDG EHHS, but I've only FC'd it once.

Man, I remember back in the day when all of the difficulties were all messed up. CIA Rave was a "For Masters Only". Gradeus was a "For Gurus Only". And Flight of the Bumblebee was so hard that it didn't even have a difficulty rating. Now people AAA those like nothing.
