That was my guess, and looking at the background, It doesn't even look like that is the original background. So cutting off the end of the tennis racket with the rest of the bg could have been fairly easy. Look at the way the lighting is on her. The sun or whatever the light source is is from the behind us to the right.

Look at the fence poles even further back. The light is from in FRONT of us to the right. You can tell that by the shadows.

Look at the blue pole behind her. The source is on the left. Look at the shadows. The are going the opposite way as the shadows from the fence.
