You know that because of the nature of the swf file format, that it is impossible to get a very nice and secure system setup.
Macromedia made a smart business move when they decided to open it because it allows for many 3rd party tools (Which is why Flash is such a widely used format). But, at the same time, this allows for decompilation etc...
Flash will basically never be secure. Sure you can transfer data over SSL (Or atleast I heard you can), however, that does not change the fact that the data can be manipulated before the tranfer. Encryption would be ideal for this, however, the key would be known because swf is an open file format.

Are you sure it is not Director (AKA Shockwave) or Java?
But also, is this a casino? Should we have to worry incredible amounts over security for this? No we do not have to, but they have to because that makes or breaks their business.

The security of this game barely matters.
We can easily see a hacked score, just delete it and ban the user.
Didn't work so well for the whole Boogie Bear epidemic, but it's how R1 worked.

I know this is a little late to be responding to this old topic. I ran across it scanning through the forum and would like to say that R2's security is horrible, we know this. There is no excuse for it and it needs to be changed. Saying that .swf is an open format is just an excuse not to find a solution to make it more secure.
Cheers,
