The chord progressions is what differs from Xenon actually. The melody is the same... for a moment.

The static harmony in the Xenon chorus is i - V. The static harmony in the second part of variations is i | i - VII - VI - V(add vii).

Also The Glass Prison is pretty gay. Most of the lyrical dream theater songs are. Songs like Biaxident sound like they belong in popular video games.
