America is a giant landmass in the western hemisphere, divided into 2 continents, North America and South America. People from the US calling themselves Americans and thinking it means the same thing as United States citizen is both stupid and wrong. Mexicans are Americans. Colombians are Americans. Argentinians are Americans. Canadians are Americans. Notice how those are a bunch of different countries that "America" includes? Way to be a complete dip****, Robby.

Technically: Geography lesson.

Though America is technically the Western continents, Canadians arent American, they are Canadians. Columbians arent American, they are Columbians. Have you ever heard someone call themselves United States of American? No. Because it is just American. Americans are Americans because they come from the United States of America.

Except for some people, myself for example. The country I reside in is the United States of America, and though I am an American, I am a Californian first. That is, until George Bush is no longer president.

I dont want to be associated with George W. Bush and anything he does.
