I tried to salvage it. I thought we might have gotten a cool pimping scene going at the start, then he could be caught by the cops and it could turn into a novel about the horrors of prison and why you shouldn't commit crimes. We could throw in bribery and police brutality for good measure and publish it starting a nationwide outcry to stop the evil. Make up fake bibliographical references to sound like we knew what we were talking about and mention irrelevant court cases.
