For all who're responsible for this, I just wanted to say that I'm extremely impressed. This is a major step up from FFR, and I can't wait to see more tracks added. Nice job, and thanks for all your hard work!

It seems as most new people like R2, and the some of the vets like R1 better, I guess the original sticks with the originals.

Yeah it is awesome. Even though it is a complete copy of SM.

No. R2 is a "complete copy" or DDR. It just so happens that SM is ALSO a "complete copy" of DDR. Even if SM never existed, R2 would be EXACTLY the same.

I totally agree with you. I think that R2 attracts all the newer people because they can try almost all the songs on an easy difficulty. I've been at FFR for 6-7 months now, so i wouldn't quite consider myself as a vet, but I prefer FFR R1 because of the high difficulty songs. Now, if i don't make this point someone will say "Then try the harder songs...". Well R2 needs more work and R1 has a better selection of those very challenging songs.

I love R2 even though it took so long to load for dial up. Great work.

The only thing thats wierd about it is that sometimes the song doesnt load, but its better by far. I dont play DDR so i dont know whats that like, but if R2 is just like DDR i might try it. Good luck, hope to have more songs added (like....uhh....hmm....BALLOON FEVER!)

I've had that happen a ton of times on R1.
Granted, I'm one of those 'new people' so maybe that's why I enjoy R2 a lot more, but I feel like R2 is way more polished than R1. It seems like the timing and steps on a huge number of R1 songs are horrible and hastily thrown together. One some of the harder songs - most of which I could do if I could read the arrows - are impossible to me because of the lack of speed mods and all of the arrows being the same color. I don't feel like I should have to memorize the entire song because the arrows are unreadable.
R2 fixes these problems. The steps I've seen for all of the songs in R2 are well thought out and most importantly, fun. Songs on heavy seem to follow the song way, way better than R1 songs. The timing is better. I don't feel like I'm missing steps because of a poorly coded engine. It just seems like a professionally designed game while R1 was horribly amateur in both the engine and step creation compared to some of the downloadable sims and song files. Like I said - it's simply more polished.
