Finally finished this song I've been working on for awhile. I'd say this is without a doubt the best track I've ever made. It's a mix between Drum N' Bass and IDM, really melodic with nice beats and some ****ed up glitch for good measure.

Little too slow and soft for my liking, but I'll also say it's
cool.

Hahaha, because it isn't IDM until it has some glitch.
Very cool style. Most people would classify with this as Drill 'N Bass.
The instrument that comes in around 1:40 is awesome. Were there any strings used, because I thought I heard some strings.
This is right on par with Polaris and melodicshort.mp3. I'll cherish this song on my MP3 player.

There was a scene that sprung up in NYC and Philly around 2000-02 that this would fall right into. I forgot what they described it as, and don't have much of the music, but it was always a favorite to get hands on for late night sessions in chill out rooms.

If you find some of it let me know. I'd really like to hear some more stuff in this same vein, see what kind of neat things people do with it.

Clarion was a good friend of mine, and we sorta fell out of touch around late 2003. I loved his stuff, and vice versa. Used to stay up at night and work on production tracks and just talk music. It was great
.
Btw..
Evol Intent - Corrupt Cops (noisia remix) <-- seriously, listen to that Ap. The whole thing.
Is ****ing phat. Noisia does some hard nails for tracks. That and his Konflict - Messiah remix are just mm mm yummy. Hard like Calyx, Echo, Gridlok and that entire crew off of Renegade HArdware.
Find :
Echo and Gridlok - Structure
The Militia - Paranoia (gridlok remix)
Dom and Roland - Dance all Night (calyx remix)
This is all just hard stuff that I'm listening to and mixed before into sets, but the songs are just badass. They have nothng much to do at all with the song you posted, but they just are..mm.
Pendulum - Another World
If you like those last ones, I'll send you a set with them mixed in.. It was the last one I did, and probably will for who knows. Anyways. yeah.

Nosia is damn good, Evol Intent is good, Pendulum, High Contrast....Im not a DnB fan..I actually really cant stand it and perfer something more humanistic and less syncopated, but those ARE really good artist.

Yesssssss.
I love the Synths...awesome awesome sounds. But I'm not a fan of the Amen break part. Other than that though, kick ass.

Well, you had me fooled. I thought the main melody thing was a heavily modified guitar riff.

That was a realy cool song! I love how you mix the ambience with complex drum patterns. You have a lot of skill.
