ok... guess I have to take that back. With all programs turned off, my other comp turned off and quality at one I can almost beat it. But every now and then there will be a little lag spike (larger then the normal lag :P) and it just skips 5 or so. It's impossible to get first if the comp can't register 5 on the arrows, plus the fact there's usually around 3 lag spikes per try.

Well I think I know how he did it anyways. Notice that the screen shot is in the fullscreen mode? Well when the contest was going there was a bug where if you loaded a song, then failed it, you could press to load another song, and press the down arrow key right before it was done loading and it would play the stepfile of the song you failed, only without the music, and without a background.

Now for me anyway, when I did this in the fullscreen mode it made the arrows come at about half the speed, and thats what I expect he did.

The scores were not reset (for FOTBB at least, which I assume is what you are talking about), because I saw my terrible 150k score at the bottom of the top 50, and I havent played that song since the contest!

1. You posted in another forum saying that you only got 60 million points, which is BARELY passing.

3. If you say that because you are using Stepmania 3.0 final, Payon only appears as an 8 step and you got 60 million out of 80 million points, you still werent close to FCing it. When i A'd Payon in 3.0 final, i had around 74 million points.

In a section like this "Brag board" the trust comes from people being part of the community, and having provided previous proof of one's skills. Hey Alternate, or Reach... How do you guys play, with one hand or two? I can beat just about all the songs constantly except for maybe Rev and Waltz, but I only score about 5 or 6 percent. I just can't move my fingers that fast (I play with one hand). Any tips?

Well, what I have noticed, and this is kind of a question/comment for everyone, is that speed has nothing to do with how fast I can press the keys. I've been messing around with songs in SM like the speed of the arrows and the song. And I've come to realize that the thing that kills me is when a lot of arrows come really slow and are all bunched together... or they come really fast bunched together, either way... When there's a lot of notes in a small amount of beats, that's what kills me. Any tips regarding that aspect of play???
