For all of you uber FFR/DDR/SM players...do you think your that good because it's a gift or just a skill that you have learned. O_o I love random topics.

Uhh, I doubt you can just be good at Stepmania from a "gift". It's all practice.

not everyone can be good at this game, there has to be some kind of natural talent, or a "gift"

dude, you're retarted.
The only natural talent/gift is hands.

The only people who can't develop the skill for this game are people with no hands. It's not exactly complicated.

I had the gift of awesome hand to eye coordination and I practice more often than you breathe. So the answer is both.

If god was a horny 64 year old man, then yes.

Is that how you AAAA'd ES? CONGRATURATION
It's just like an instrument. People with natural talent can play well but practice less often while people with less talent need to practice more to match up to that level.
Your poll should be on talent vs. practice. Comparing natural talent with overall skill is dumb since natural talent figures in with how much you practice to make overall skill.
Natural Abilities + Practice = Skill.

i voted skill. i am at MAX300 level on DDR and at hellbeat (and other such hard songs) on this, and it took a LOT of practice. i think taking martial arts helps though, as i am a black belt and better than anyone else i know, even those who have played longer than me.

Jee, I'm in Martial Arts too, and I'd hardly say that Martial Arts helps me play SM...
Although I did learn how to read higher BPMS really really fast...
Maybe you're right XD
It helps in terms of reaction and ****, but thats about it =\
