How much TV do you watch in a week?

I've been confused as to why people actually watch TV anymore and I look forward to hearing your excuses for why you watch more than a couple hours a week.

Personally, the only time I watch TV is when I'm at a friend's house and that's what their watching, or I accidently sit on the remote control. With all the garbage on the air, and in media, why bother? If you truly love a series, why not just buy it...

I only watch it when I'm going to bed, becuase it puts me to sleep. Meaning I watch less than an hour a week.

I watch maybe two hours a week. And that's only because I'm to lazy to turn it off.

I chose 3-8 hours a week. On Sunday I know watch at least 2 hours (Fox's Sunday Night Line-up)...and every so often I will watch The Daily Show, Law & Order, CSI, or Monk.

I only watch Adult Swim. And I usually miss it during the week. I usually only watch it on Saturday and Sunday. I'd say about 5 hours, though, because I don't watch all of it on Saturday and I skip on Home Movies on Sunday.

Does watching torrents count? because then I may be closing in on 16-20 hours a DAY.

I have ESPN on whenever I'm awake and home (which is ALOT. 5 days for 15 hours a day, the other 2 for 8) PLUS I watch episodes that ran the night before on my computer the next day with ESPN still on. That is about 2 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Total: 105 hours a week, or 15 hours a day. All of this further depends on when I wake up/sleep. 105 is an average, probably on the lower end. 110 is probably more like it.

I like ESPN....

Um...Desperate Housewives on Sunday or Monday, depending on whether I catch it or download it...Medium on Mondays...Lost and Alias on Wednesdays...Family Guy and Futurama whenever I can catch them.

6 hours a week at the most...maybe a little more when I'm watching late-night TV, but I don't do that often either.

16+, easily...letterman/Conan every night, usually some retarded reality show during the week...and i watch gameshows/sitcoms during the afternoon for a long time while getting ready/checking email/making posts/etc...i probably watch close to 8 hours a day.

The only time I ever watch TV anymore is the news in History class, or movies.

Every week I get 1 hour a day Monday through Friday, 2.5 on Saturday.

So 7 1/2 a week plus any sporting events that may pop up (Celtics games and BC Eagles games right now since nothing else is going on after Sunday).

EDIT: Forgot, 2 extra hours on Monday and Thursday. So 11.5 plus sports then.

Usually only 3-8, if that. The only time I watch anything is when someone has the television on and I walk into the room. Sometimes I watch some news or stuff at dinner, but not very often and not very much.

I watch Tv for about 2 hours a week, and thats all Adult Swim on Saturday's.

Start watchng when Ruroni Kenshin starts, stop watching usually after FMA. Sometimes I humor myself with Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone Complex.

I watch a few shows here and there over the weekdays. Smallville, Conan(if im awake), and some adult swim. Weekends though I am notorious so really i spend about like 10 hours a week for tv. Its kinda fading away now that I have my own comp :-) .
