I'll start.
Inverted Mode: Go to the Keyboard Congifuration and switch your keys. Your Left Key becomes the Right Arrow, Right Key becomes Left Arrow, Up Key becomes Down Arrow, and Down Key becomes Up Arrow.
This should prove to either be mildly fun, or very frustrating. Depends on your skill, I guess.
Now you other people invent a fun mode!

FFR Wizard Mode: Just like in the song, this mode is all about being Deaf, Dumb, and Blind. The Dumb part takes care of itself, since I'm sure nobody has memorized the entire pattern of arrows to a song. The Deaf comes from you turning off your speakers/unplugging your headphones. You should not be able to hear the song. The Blind part comes from turning on Dark mode. In FFR R1, you can further the Blindness by turning on Sudden along with Dark.
Have fun!

Not quite as enjoyable as the first xD.

I've got one.
Dualie mode: Play both players of a song at once, one hand on each set of controls. For added fun, alter the BPMs of the songs or add different variables like dizzy. Dare someone to beat reality dual handed, one hand on 2x one hand on 4x and dizzy.

um... Anti, that is Doubles mode. DDR/SM have it. you can't change the scroll rate between them... but, you could always play on Versus and change the scroll which would do the same thing.

That's what I was saying. -_-

ABC Mode: Another cheap thing like Inverted Mode, but not as good. Make the "U" Key the Up Arrow, the "D" Key the Down Arrow, the "L" Key the Left Arrow, and the "R" Key the Right Arrow.

Heh heh... me and my friends used to play it these ways... Of course, both were originally used with either the dance pads or PS2 controllers, so I'm a bit wary about the results
ZC!'s SSR (Socks Socks Revolution):
(played on dance pads, otherwise this is near impossible)
First, both players take off their socks. One sock is rolled into a ball and put into the other sock, and during a song, the players are free to wail on each other with their sock-o-doom. Extra damage is done (physically and psychologically) if the socks are really stinky and dirty.
Tristan's Monkey Style DDR:
(another one played on pads)
The basis is the same as usual... until a third friend (yeah, you need a third friend) calls out "HANDS!". At that moment, both players must, as quickly as possible, jump of the pad and start hitting the arrow buttons with his/her [there hasn't been a her, yet, though... surprise]. Later, the third friend will call "FEET!". This generally goes on until either the song is completed, failed, or if the players get tired of it and beat the third friend with the aforementioned socks.
Jordan-Style Focus Match
The can be played any way in which both players are pretty close together. This one is best played with the battery-style lifebar, as it makes a loud noise when you miss something.)
The players stay close together on this one while a third friend stands behind them. If one player misses an arrow (or otherwise causes the little battery to lose a bar), the third friend will then start to mildly harrass that player (we usually used cheek pulling and pinching). A second miss will result in more serious harrassing (we used mild repeated face slaps [though not too hard, 'cause that would just suck]). A third strike gets the works; the third player is then free to try what they can to harrass the player, be it hair pulling, face pinching, ear tugging (note that all damage done must be above the neck). The player who completes this with the higher score (game score, not pain tally) wins.
Hope this incites chaos among the DDRists across the globe. :D

Dude, if someone decides to play any of these ways, send me a pic so I can give it to my DDR buddies. They'd be stoked. :D

I got a good one. Get a wireless keyboard and turn the computer screen upside down. Go as far as possible from the screen and play. I call it Jet Style

How about Alpha-Numerical Mode: Where you still use the same arrows and stationary arrows but the arrows change into different letters and symboles on the way up...

"Look ma, no hands" mode. Play on the keyboard, sans your fingers. Nose, toes, pantyhose, whatev, just don't use yer fingertips or you get punched. Or lose.
